Is anyone else really excited about the new series tomorrow? I'm not sure if it's going to be a weekly episode or available to binge, but the trailer looks brilliant.

I can't wait to see what happens next although I'm dreading it too, as it inevitably will be the end of Kim in one way or another.

Title edited by MNHQ to add a spoiler alert

Fuck!!!!

Poor Nacho. Agree with everyone that Mike was 'protecting' Nacho from a torturous death if it went wrong.

Where's Lalo??

And who was following Jimmy and Kim at the end of ep 2? The car that pulled away after theirs from the Kettlemans?

Kim is definitely getting too into this stitching up Howard stuff, perhaps that will be her undoing? It will all backfire - disgrace, disbarment, prison??

I'm loving this, and waiting a week in anticipation of a new episode is great.

Gutted re Nacho! But glad it was on his terms. Even more respect for anime now.

it’s funny - in BB I like Gus at first, he seemed to have more morals in the beginning (which obviously changed quickly). It’s good seeing how ruthless he really was right from the start.

General clue, especially if title says “spoilers”, is don’t read the thread until you’ve watched the latest episode 🤦🏻‍♀️

Furries · 26/04/2022 23:21

anime?! That should have said even more respect for Mike!

Whataboutno · 26/04/2022 23:32

It could be Lalo following Kim and Jimmy in the car at ep.2 or it could be Howard himself that would be a way better twist! Or Jessie Pinkman?

The acting from nacho was amazing. I am so pleased that this season is so good after the disappointing last season of killing eve.

Agreed - was SO disappointed with KE.

Rollergirl11 · 27/04/2022 13:33

Yep agree I think that was the plan so that Nacho could get some dignity in his death and it be on his terms. I’m so sad he’s gone, what an epic character he was!

I don’t like how Kim is so up for ruining Howard. She’s being quite contrary as she usually has a very strong moral compass. Although she does get a thrill from some of Jimmy’s past scams so she does have a bit of a ruthless streak.

And wouldn’t Jesse Pinkman just be a loser druggie at this point in time?

Wutipo · 27/04/2022 15:06

Not sure if I wasn’t concentrating properly, but how did Lalo manage to fake his dental records? Thanks for the discussion here, it’s nice to have people to chat with about it

I think he probably smiled at the dentist and the dentist immediately agreed to falsify any paperwork he wanted falsifying for one of the dead burnt beyond recognition bodies in the compound, well you would wouldn’t you……..

The poor people in the house who were nice to him ended up as collateral damage because they might have said to someone “Are you sure they identified Lalo, because he was in our house drinking coffee the day after the fire”

Indigoo03 · 28/04/2022 18:35

What did Mike mean when he said Do it as Nacho pulled the gun on Eladio? Kill who? Kill himself?

Wutipo · 28/04/2022 19:28

I wondered this too indigoo03 . He surely didn’t know nacho planned to free himself and grab the other guy?

Could also be do it as in kill himself as that was the plan or do it as in tell the truth to out chicken man?

I thought he wasn’t convincing enough as ‘not Frings man’ and Hector wasn’t convinced.

The comments that the Chicken Man couldn’t have been responsible, felt like protesting too much. The criticisms and rudeness about Eladio and all the others just didn’t ring true.

Whether they believe it or think Nacho was working for Fring…well we will see. Fring looked extremely uptight as he walked back to his vehicle. Now he has to wait to see if it worked.

And I wouldn’t be surprised if his father gets killed.

I think Mike saw Nacho grabbing Eladio as a unique opportunity to kill Eladio, the cartel leader. Must have been tempting for Nacho, but he might not have then had the clean death he gave himself, or risked his father. He did the job he had to do.

I found Ep3 much easier to follow.

Thanks for this thread - it’s drawn my attention to stuff I just didn’t spot.

MargotMoon · 29/04/2022 17:18

That wasn't Eladio in that scene, it was Bolsa. And I think Mike meant kill Bolsa when he said 'Do it', because none of that went down the way it was supposed to based on the conversation between Nacho, Mike and Fring beforehand.

Nacho was supposed to run at Fring and his men, and Victor (Fring's man) was supposed to 'take him down'/kill him. The very beginning of the episode was a scene which finished with rain dripping on to the glass shard which he used to stab Bolsa. That came from the glass that he and Mike had a drink of whiskey from before Mike had to beat him up - Nacho realised he'd been left alone with the glass and must have decided to go his own way.

I think his tirade against the Salamancas was convincing enough for them to believe that Fring wasn't involved, although Hector knows he was but can't prove it!

@palmplantcirca1980s Ah yes, I rewound that shot as I couldn't work out what was going on but of course it was the one in the bin!

Mike is easily my favourite character out of the whole of BB and BCS
