Is anyone else really excited about the new series tomorrow? I'm not sure if it's going to be a weekly episode or available to binge, but the trailer looks brilliant.

I can't wait to see what happens next although I'm dreading it too, as it inevitably will be the end of Kim in one way or another.

What a cracking penultimate episode. My brain is full of theories of how the final is going to pan out. I knew Marion would play a crucial part. The scene with Kim and Jesse was sublime.

I think I'll need to watch it again!

Superb episode

HuggyWuggy · 09/08/2022 19:53

Fantastic, I was at the edge of my seat during most of the episode.

howdidigethere · 09/08/2022 20:13

What a cracking episode. That scene with Kim on the bus ....aw, KIm, darling.

Brilliant acting.

MsDogLady · 09/08/2022 21:30

Yes, masterful acting by Rhea Seehorn.

FredaFox · 09/08/2022 23:21

Just finished it. Can't wait to see how it all ends!

Furries · 10/08/2022 00:04

Stupid, stupid, stupid bloody Saul/Gene. He just can’t help himself!

I want to know more re Kim - I really felt for her, past and present. She’s done some questionable things, but I still felt for her.

I almost don’t want to watch the final episode. I want to know how it ends, but I obviously don’t want it to end.

viques · 10/08/2022 00:16

Oh poor poor Kim, I must have missed the part where she was raised by nuns (not really! I remember the episode with her mother ) and made to believe in divine retribution and atoning for your sins . What a dreary life, the clothes, the hair, the dreadful job, the awful thick as a plank boyfriend, then taking the plunge and confessing all… she is punishing herself every minute of everyday. Her amazing brain must be aching with the dullness of it. And yes, when she “knew” Jimmy/Saul he was a good lawyer, Deep down she still loves him, but can’t forgive herself, or him for Howard.

No wonder it all got too much on the airport bus.

Playplayaway · 10/08/2022 07:29

What Kim & Jimmy did to Howard was pretty unforgivable though so I'm not feeling too sorry for her. Obviously they didn't plan for him to be murdered, but the suicide cover up and defamation of character was horrifying for his family and colleagues. Jimmy was able to compartmentalise it, but Kim obviously couldn't. Jimmy shot himself in the foot with that phonecall, it bought it too much to the surface for Kim and she just had to let out. And let it out she did, spectacularly.

Superb writing, superb acting, superb cinematography. I'll be completely bereft when it ends. Like some pp on here, I'm back into watching BB and I'm going to do the whole if BCS afterwards. I might just watch them both on a loop forever :)

Murder cover up

Whataboutno · 10/08/2022 08:37

Such a great episode. You can see Gene/Jimmy/Saul making silly mistakes like mentioning the Albuquerque laws on the phone to Marion and even coming in on the Blondie song at the wrong time.

I really felt for Kim, she is such a brilliant actor I hope she wins every award going!

biddyboo · 10/08/2022 09:33

What an episode! I don't think this can end well for Jimmy now as his moral decline is continuing, so I think his fate will be the same as Mike, Fring, Walter etc. I was so relieved that he didn't strangle Marion, even though she was about to reveal his real identity. I like that Kim is trying to atone for some of the terrible things she has been part of. Jessie survived at the end of Breaking Bad, and he seemed to be the only left who had somewhat of a moral compass. I think it will be the same with Kim.

biddyboo · 10/08/2022 09:35

Oh and I loved the scene with Kim and Jessie, and how she is walking away from it all while Jessie is just getting started. Last week, I did question the purpose of bringing in Walter and Jessie, but that scene last night was perfect.

Lipsandlashes · 10/08/2022 13:09

Kim’s new ‘life’ had to be the most bitterly depressing thing during the entire run of BCS. And to think she had lived it for 6 years. Rhea Seehorn was just sublime. I hope she wins all the awards going.

Agreed. The 'yep, yep, yep...' sex scene 🤮

knottsberryfarm · 10/08/2022 16:24

Is there still a chance for Jimmy/Saul/Gene to get away with the vacuum cleaner guy? Would definitely be a rush but he could have a stash of cash now.

I mean I don't want him to get away with anything as he is awful and has no redeeming characteristics whatsoever.

Marian was quick to make the connection to ALBQ but not so quick to have the laptop turned off when Gene came by given it was an hour later? But maybe the dial up was slow Grin

Shivermetimbers0112 · 10/08/2022 17:06

Wonderful performance by Rhea Seehorn, and BCS fast becoming one of my favourite series of all time 👏👏👏

ManAboutTown · 10/08/2022 22:11

Can't believe they turned Kim into a bit of a frump. Still fancy her to bits.

Lots to tie up in the last episode but I reckon Jimmy/Saul/Gene is going to cop it

thatone · 11/08/2022 10:30

I was so moved and amazed by Kim's crying on the bus scene - you could totally feel her pain and desperation. I really hope they show that she is able to move on and be the Kim that she was once again (without the scams).

howdidigethere · 11/08/2022 11:30

I know Kim is a morally conflicted character but I like her and it's such a waste if she's just resigned herself to the life of a simpering frump discussing mayo and sprinkler valves! Go back to pro bono law work and strut that ponytail, gal! Don't go back to Jimmy though ....he's a lost Saul (geddit?)

AnyFucker · 11/08/2022 12:51

If anyone has just exploded into tears after holding them in for so long, they will know that Rhea Seehorn played that scene to perfection.

KittenKong · 11/08/2022 13:11

It’s like she is punishing herself by becoming the most boring, un opinionated, ‘safe’ person she can be, in the hope that no one even notices her. No wonder it all came out on the bus.

KatharineofAragon · 11/08/2022 13:19

I really think she’s an absolutely brilliant actress. She looked like a completely different person in her new persona.

KittenKong · 11/08/2022 13:34

I wasn’t certain until she opened her mouth.

AnyFucker · 11/08/2022 16:38

I had assumed she was living under a new identity and was surprised to hear her referred to as Kim Wexler. She was so different.

She was punishing herself with that dull lifestyle and that hick bloke
