Because I have some questions!

I know they were well off but goodness how much is it going to cost to buy him out of the house?😯 millions id have thought.

Just read that they filmed another ending and they may show it eventually, but I feel if this is what the writer chose, I’m happy to accept it as it is

The clothing budget must of been huge !!! But I will miss it and all the gorgeous dressed with the zips up the back from series 2
I still think Hannah and Nathan could of been alright even with Kate having the baby ... their shared history , the fact they classed each other as each other's best friend etc , they both had done wrong and were both in a position of knowing all about the what's and when's ...

I thought Hannah’s clothes very boring and dated very 00s corporate but thought Nina was dressed well - was admiring her chiseled shoulders in a halterneck (in the office!)

NW clipped stilted sentences and gurning was irritating.

Think Steven Mangan was great - sort of a bumbling barrister if that’s possible.

Kate’s character was great - got your hackles up straight away !

I loved it. I could watch Nicola Walker reciting the alphabet. I love the clothes and the houses. The men in this are a bit wet, generally, but the women are strong, which I enjoy.

Kate reminded me of Jodi Foster, though her pontificating would make a saint slug her one!

I always get confused about the time - they work in high pressure jobs (so presumably not knocking off at 4pm), go for drinks with clients and meals in celeb restaurants/book launches, pick their kids up from nightclubs, meet their lovers for a shag, all the same night, then turn up at work (having had no overnight kit with them) on time the next morning looking glamourous. And it's always daylight, unless they want to make a point about it being later, when suddenly it's dark!

And that scene where Nathan and Kate take over the house and has her groceries sent there and tries to befriend the kids - a halfwit wouldn't behave like that. Apart from anything else, who really wants to be in their new boyfriend's marital home with their kids? Just let him have this evening with them as his contact time, you get the other 6 days of the week. Even if you do go, just make pasta and pesto or pizza and bring it from the corner store on your way. Kate got right up my nose anyway.

She was RIGHT to divorce Nathan, the rat. She's too good for him

Wow! But Hannah blew their marriage apart by having an affair. Didn't worry about the consequences or the impact on her family. Nathan didn't sleep with anyone until after the split!

From my memory in the earlier series , Nathan was on a adultery website and met up with women. Hannah didn't sleep with Christie until after she found out. Not that two wrongs make a right.

I thought Ruth was the most ridiculous almost pantomime character from the off - a sort of legal Hyacinth Bucket - a busy body snob at the local WI yes - but totally unconvincing as a hard nosed lawyer.

Why did Kate name herself Kate Stern on the shopping receipt for the groceries delivery to Hannah's house ? That seemed very unhinged and goady to me.

I loved the properties especially the mews house. I could see myself and my cars happily living there. I also wonder which hotel Christie was staying in?

Loved Ruth, was worried they'd kill her off this series.

Nathan was doing everything he could to get back with Hannah after the Indiana Ray scandal but then it all came out that she and Christie had slept together the night before her wedding. A step too far for Nathan who'd been led to believe he himself was the only guilty one.

In case anyone's on the wrong thread, this is spoilers....

Christie and Hannah did have a laugh - i don't think he was completely humourless as some pp have suggested. But it was notable that when they were really 'connecting', it was nostalgia for their time at law school which they found hilarious - their relationship was all based in the past.

Also, does anyone remember the end of series 2 - I thought Hannah and Christie parted on extremely bad terms - didn't she go to his door and he said sorry not interested any more? (perhaps I'm misremembering, but if so, it was odd that he just slotted back into being madly in love with her as soon as he returned).
And as for whether Nathan will be bored with Kate in a few months - I think he is already! Definitely regretting it, and No Way Out.

Agree! I couldn’t believe she went from helping her puking daughter late at night to go see Christie, wasn’t she knackered?!

Nathan was quite puppy-dog this series, in the past I’m sure he had more fight.

On Christie, didn’t he have a pregnant girlfriend/wife in the first series who he splits up with? Does Hannah not judge him a bit for not being involved with his baby? Am I misremembering?

I wasn't satisfied with the ending where it seemed they both wanted to be together but couldn't because he'd got another woman pregnant. He didn't have to be with Kate because if that. And yes so weird she was involved in the nesting so early on and then came over immediately after they signed the divorce papers.

I didn't understand why Hannah was at the book party.

I also must not have been watching properly as I didn't understand the Tyler fraud in relation to the firm and what she did wrong (sister who looks like Kate Middleton).

I feel like they could do a fourth series because Hannah and Christie are up in the air and there us time for Nathan and Kate to unravel as well as the other sister's lives to sort.

She transferred £250k to 'the developer' as her share of the flat (which means she thought total deposit was £500k as Tyler said he'd pay half - would it usually be so much, even allowing for the fact that it was an upmarket apartment?) Presumably Tyler gave her the bank details, and it was to an account he'd set up called "xxxdevelopments" but actually his. So she would have looked extremely naive, slapdash in carrying out financial checks - not a good advert!

That was it re the ex-wife thank you, I had misremembered! I know, by the end of the second season I wanted Christie to forget about Hannah and move on. I agree with a pp he does still seem to be in love with law-school Hannah and not grown-up Hannah with kids.

Re Lily Cole, I think the donor has different rights depending on whether the baby is conceived via artificial insemination or sex and Lily Cole and the blonde man had slept together (but not told the girlfriend) if I understood correctly.
