I find it cringeworthy to watch these beautiful women demeaning themselves by throwing themselves at Miles's feet. Yes, he is very handsome but come on ladies. They all behave the same way with him - Ruby, Izzy, Yasmin and now Ella. As soon as he shows some interest, it's all giggling up at him, flicking their hair, they are only short of thanking him for bestowing some of his attention upon them.
Then watching them try to remain 'cool' as he backs away the moment anyone tries to get him to commit to so much as a second date is painful. The painful realisation they are being (effectively) dumped, the forced smiles as they agree they are "happy to just be friends", to "keep things casual" (i.e. move on to the next pretty face) etc. They will do or say or be anything / anyone just to remain somewhere in the vicinity of his attention. These gorgeous women come across as desperate and vacuous.
He needs someone with a backbone, with a strong sense of self-worth, who will set out what they are and are not prepared to accept, who will not put up with his bullshittery for even a minute, who will tell him to fuck right off when he starts messing them around. He doesn't need to make any effort for any of these women, they are more than happy to accept the crumbs he throws them and so he looses interest within days/weeks. He needs someone a bit feisty (like Maeva but not Maeva obviously), someone who demands he makes an effort for them and who ditches him if he doesn't.
There, needed to get that off my chest after last night's episode!
