It really is! Usually directed at some peripheral character that only joined the show a couple of episodes earlier, who's never been seen or mentioned before, or alternatively said between two characters who we've hardly ever seen talk to each other... I actually had no idea that Sam P and Tristan had a business together. And where the hell did Miles' "best friend" Temps spring from after he'd already been in MIC for about 10 years?

Miles has more best mates than I've had hot dinners!

Sydney next... and it looks like Lauren's sticking around. I may have to start watching on mute with the subtitles on.

I thought it was kinda sad how Tiff’s only discourse on motherhood in that scene was about her weight and her body, almost sounded like she was apologetic for not being skinny again already.

Lauren is defo annoying so far.

I think Liv and Temps could actually work though! They’re both fairly easy going and fun. Would like to see her happy with someone nice.

That’s so true about Tiffany. Horrible body image pressure on her. She’s only just had a baby FGS. Wonder if she willl pop back in to the story occasionally now.

That scene felt exactly like a mandatory Keeping In Touch day on mat leave- you go back in to the office bringing your baby, get some coos and banal questions about how you’re finding it, you reply to everything super upbeat, say how much you miss work whether you do or not, then everyone drifts off back to their desks, and you go home with the baby suddenly feeling wierd.

Maybe Tiff owed the production company a day’s filming from something before. So random. Was she ever actually friends with any of the girls in that scene? I do squeamishly like it when old MIC breaks through into new MIC though. It’s enjoyably awkward. Maybe because it exposes the not-really-friends play acting side of it.

How did Lauren ever become a model?

She may photograph really well.

Willow is properly beautiful and Lauren is just very pretty (sorry!) so all of that is totally baffling to me. I really don’t like Lauren’s mean girl/man pleaser persona on the show.

It looks like Lauren is also getting involved with Tristan in the next episode...

I quite liked Bella before. I now feel she’s potentially vying for the role of super bitch now Maeva and Liv have been sidelined. The only other roles in MIC are “next girlfriend” or “bad best friend”. Yawn.

I can barely keep up with the shit hitting the fan this week so on many storylines
Newfound and grudging respect for drawly Lauren really not giving a shit about anyone’s feelings and just bulldozing on
Harvey getting pied so gloriously which serves him right for being so shit to Willow
Ruby claiming Yas as her best friend, really?
Inga who has had perfect dignity thus far surely about to get back with awful Princey
Liv and Temps just so adorable and perfect together
That amazingly odd scene about Tristan being a massive dog in the manger and James doing his work for him for some inexplicable reason

I think Ruby must be jealous of Inga. She’s a nasty cow.

I always disliked Tristan but i think he’s grown on me.

I’m quite enjoying the new series! Feeling a lot of reflected vindication for Inga, who I actually like. Yas can get in the bin alongside Ruby, and oddly Bella now too, who I started off liking (whilst being simultaneously hugely confused about why anyone would allow themselves to be dumped by that hideous hobbit Rez).

is it just me who would’ve faceplanted that whole dish of crab linguine?! No wonder everyone on there has such perfect bods 🙄 shame Lauren can’t diet those fish lips away though.

I confess I wasn’t sure on James at the start. But all you have to do is look at Maeva.

She looks truly happy and that is a lovely thing. All I remember from her time with Miles is that she was either upset or angry or a combination of the two.

Time to pop on your fleecy flying jacket and fly towards the future Miles. You lost a bloody cracker. James won. Deal with it.

Not buying Live and Time. But it is amusing watching them flounder for a storyline.

Not buying Harv as a speccy lothario either. Where is Emily? Is she still with Bert - him of the brows?

When is the next dinner party? We need another one of those. A splashed drink isn’t cutting it.

I think James is one of those guys who wears the trousers behind the scenes but let's Maeva take the lead in public and finds it amusing. They do seem very very happy... though his recollections of the beginning are a little hazy!

Rather that than the alternative within this lot. All the lily livered, mealie mouthed drawling melts who let people like l’il Sameh and his henchcoques pump em and dump em and then tell the bois about fetid little exploits round the back of the bins at Raffles.

She has a bloke who adores her. She adores him back. None of the frantic fumbling and walks of shame for her. Just a happy and contented family life.

@Majorityofthree23 I’m with you to an extent think. I reckon Maeva is pretty much free range. James will pick his battles. If he feels strongly enough about something, I think Maeva will concede. With a couple of mon dieus thrown in for effect.

Almost finished episode 6. Tbh I think Lauren is feeling Yas might be a bit of a threat. Yasmin is truly stunning, such a natural beauty.

Is anyone else confused by the nice blonde girl who was interested in both Freddy and Harvey? There must be 10 years between the pair!
I do have a wee soft spot for Freddy, so I'm glad she has plumped for him.

Also, these boys might as well piss up the girls like dogs on lampposts. Why are they so proprietorial after a split? Why would Tristan care when he too is seeing someone else? Unless someone has cheated - which I'm staunchly against - then it's fair game surely. What was Temps/David supposed to have done?

Fair point about Lauren (who I can't fucking STAND) seeing Yas as a threat. She is more stunning by a country mile. And I actually think she's a nice girl deep down.

Very much warming to Temps, seems way more genuine than the others. And is looking more attractive in each episode 😁
