Martin is an utter prick! He's being cruel to Gail, and sometimes the way he spoke to Rebecca made me wonder what she ever saw in him.

I'm another one who has been shocked at how awful Martin has been. Everything he says is snarky, and the way he is with Gail now is just dreadful. It's as though he genuinely expects her to feel sorry for him

Glad it’s partly over it must been longest affair in soap history. These days you start and end an affair in 20min. No idea how long Gail keeps him for, but least no more gurning and tears from his GF.

Bruce Jones was off sick for some time at this point. I don’t know the details, but I remember reading years ago that the scenes where Blanche was having a go at Sarah-Lou were supposed to involve Les instead, from a ‘Them Platts had a nerve having a go at our Leanne when their 13 year-old daughter’s up the duff’ angle.

I’m enjoying the Blackpool almost feels like I’m away myself! Baby Ty and Maria are really good actors so believable. Maria has changed her accent now in one way unless she is very cross and then it’s all accent.

From today (Friday) it starts a bit earlier at 2:45 pm, and is the same all next week.

They'll probably alter it again the week after!
