I didn’t recognise her, but I did him - he’s not long been in emmerdale as Liv’s mum’s boyfriend

It just occurred to me when Fred was taking down the sign with “Evelyn Margaret Elliott” on it - Fred got rid of Eve by threatening to report her to the police for bigamy unless she dropped her claim to the Rovers. But surely if Fred bought the Rovers and signed it over to Eve Ellliott, it would be null and void anyway? Eve Elliott effectively didn’t exist. All the paperwork was in a name she had no right to use.
