god the Vik and Mrs Wilding storyline is painfully boring. Vik and Dev just keep having the same conversation over and over then he has the same conversation with Mrs W. Also Vik is a terrible actor in this he just frowns. But Chris Bisson is fine in other shows.

So it'll be the last wedding for Richard & Gail. Mr Hillman definitely but Gail still has a few to go!

Who'd have thought that, of the couples in Classic Corrie, Fiz and Tyrone would be the one to ultimately go the distance? I was convinced at the time that she was merely a spanner in the works (pun unintended) for Tyrone and Maria.

Thought Classic Corrie was ace today. Poor Maxine going into premature labour!

Is anyone else enjoying Charlie more this time around? I think first time around I just found her so unlikeable - and to be fair, she still is. But she’s actually a good character and actress.

Poor old Bobbi though. You know you’re an unloved secondary character when your exit isn’t even the pre-break cliffhanger, never mind the denouement of the episode.

Maxine has a lot of wrinkles for her age.

That’s a bitchy comment, does she? Can’t say I really noticed. I think she’s lovely looking. Janice I think looks ‘old’ for her age but almost all of that is down to her clothes and hair cut. It’s nice to see real faces to be honest.

Maxine is my husband's favourite corrie lady. I agree Janice looked older than her age, when is liz coming back with her amazing wardrobe?

I think Gina was probably the most lovely (just personal opinion!) but Suranne Jones who played Karen got better with age.

'Gina' was in a recent episode of the Madame Blanc Mysteries along with 'Jez Quigley'. She's still looking lovely.

Poor Maxine in the scenes when Matt told Ashley - great acting. Did Matt have a complete change of character or was he just desperate to be a dad?

Fantastic acting, although I was hopeful that the actor playing Ashley would have stepped up his game a little, but I think it confirmed he was a good, yet limited, actor.

I could feel Maxine’s anguish.

I think Matt’s character developed so much that he became desperate to be a dad. Seemed like he was sick of being the good wholesome doctor, and wanted to take charge for once.

I’m surprised how dated some of the styling looks, given that the period doesn’t seem as ‘defined’ in terms of fashion as the 80s or 90s. Charlie and Candice both look like their hair is made of Lego!

And the bleached dyed jeans were something out of the 80’s.

I don’t remember Matt and Charlie’s departure being such a damp squib.

I shed a tear at David bring bought out of the smoke filled flat. He was a brilliant actor at such a young age

I did the opposite and hoped it would be the end of him - though know it couldn’t be. The actor’s horrible remark about dogs dying in a fire was unforgivable and he should have been sacked.

Blanche is only 66 🤯🤯
