No , I don't think so @eggandonion , he gives alot but he tries to take so much more, it's all on his terms and about what he wants

Our Terry waa a handsome lad in his youth every time he comes back to corrie hes put on a bit more weight ,im a teeny tiny either but it did affect his good looks .

I did enjoy Terry being trapped in the shed with the loved up Fizz and Tyrone.

Im quite sad about the les, dennis, eileen, janice complicated relationship issue. Les does a good sad face.

Dennis and Eileen yes, Les has always been a complete prick to Janice though so even though he does good sad face I have no sympathy!

Poor Toyah, stuck in the middle.

My favourite thing at the moment is wondering whether Helen Worth will have had her hair done at the studio or have done it herself. You can always tell when the pros have done it, as the layers are all perfectly styled so it’s full at the top and nicely flicked at the back. Then on other days it looks like someone has just taken a cottage loaf out of the oven and then sat on it.

I assumed that sometimes she dried it herself, but if Audrey wasn't busy she'd nip in for a wash and blow dry and a chat.
That Richard is slimey, isnt he.

I'm enjoying seeing what has changed in 20 years in general life as well. There are obvious things like smoking in the pub which seem out of place now, but also things like when Kevin went to see Natalie's baby and was getting a paper photo out of his pocket to show people, which felt strange (I was expecting him to get his phone out for a second before it clicked what year we were in) and Gail leaving messages on Richard's landline so he didn't get them when he was away. I'm also noticing a fashion for tops with different coloured sleeves, especially with Toyah!

Oh yes, Toyah loves her contrast sleeves. I think I had one with purple sleeves and a lilac front from C&A in those days!

Was just catching up and loved Tyrone with his top of the range phone with games and text messages! Pretty sure it was a Nokia 3310!

I’m watching Judge John Deed on Alibi and the dodgy car guy who’s asking Tyrone to clock the cars appears as a dodgy billionaire. Dennis appears as a racist prison guard (with a weird Welsh/Scottish hybrid accent) and Nick Tilsley appears as a television director.

Back to Classic Corrie, I’m enjoying Janice’s storyline. Les was a lazy, unfaithful, disrespectful man and should not have been surprised, although I don’t condone blameless Eileen being hurt. All four play their roles with nuance.

Brian Capron is brilliant as Richard.

I can see why the writers kept reuniting Sally and Kev. Michael Le Vell and Sally Dynevor have insane chemistry and never replicated that with anyone else. The Molly actress is competent but I don’t buy her as Kev’s partner. Sally and Martin are excellnt characters but aren’t a viable couple for me.

Catching up on last weeks episodes and when Less complaining to Eileen about losing his jobs and women leaving him he says “Same thing happened with Leanne’s mum, Babs” The researchers on this programme really do do a terrible job.

Does anyone else find Sam really wet? He’s constantly apologising and always looks like he’s not sure he’s allowed to be there. When he starts simpering on, Toyah always looks like she wants to say “Oh for Christ’s sake put a sock in it”.

Sam is lovely but such a drip. Toyah needs someone kind, but with more ooomph. I think she’d suit Matt if the age gap were narrower. He was really pushy on the smear test blunder issue (although we’ve heard no more about it) and Toyah loves a “cause” too.

I love Sam. He's portrayed as kind, gentle and simple, aware that Toyah is more intelligent than he is. But compared with most of the relationships at the moment, he treats her really well - as far as I have seen - I'm normally getting ready for work when it's on (added in case I missed something crucial but I doubt it - he doesn't seem to have a cruel bone in his body).

Also, did I miss an episode, or has Eve just completely forgotten she’s supposed to be worried sick about Linda? One minute she was saying she wouldn’t rest until she knew the truth; now she couldn’t care less
and is more bothered that she snores 😴 😄

So Richard Hilman books a holiday to Canada and Gail trots off… Christmas Eve (was it?) leaving her kids over Christmas including David’s birthday. Just how awful ! You can see where that relationship is going !

I was just thinking that yesterday too! Have we missed a bit where Linda has been in touch to say she's fine?
