Is anyone watching? No one I know in real life watches so I have no one to talk about it with- I'm on the current series on TLC when Kody is going all crazy paranoid about Covid

Anyone still watching this. Kody is getting even worse. I think they must be repeats. That episode when he screamed 'it's a knife in the kidneys.' When another wife had thrown in the towel. It's quite compulsive viewing. Janelle is so nice and down to earth. Why on earth she married Kody and stay all these years.

I had not really considered the religious dilemma aspect of Janelle and Meri leaving Kody.

Christine is out of the religion but Meri said in one episode that she didn't know what to do as she was bonded to Kody for eternity. That must be difficult to think of.

And Janelle said that she didn't know what to do because they weren't going to a church in Flagstaff as there isn't one. So she had nobody to turn to for that side of things. And nobody to 'release her from marriage' as she put it.

Obviously a couple of years has passed since then and they have left him but that religious dilemma hadn't occurred to me as I'm not religious.

I'm glad they're both genuinely happy, I think she deserves it and I hope they really are soul mates.
Where was gwendolyn?
I love how all the children were there too and were so happy for her.
I do have a question though? I thought Mormons didn't drink alcohol? Christine was chugging on a can of beer at one point with everyone cheering for her.

I like christine but I thought the wedding was a little cringey in parts and she seemed a bit disingenuous. Also did anyone notice how the story of how she met David is a little different each time it is told?

She isn't religious any longer.

I cringed through the whole thing especially the lap dance 😱

I'm watching the one on one interviews now. I can't believe what he did to meri's wedding ring! What a shitty thing to do. And I remember how bad she was made to feel over the catfishing, and he'd melted down the wedding ring she gave him!
And all that stuff about Janelle treating him like a piece of meat. Like it's a terrible thing that she was attracted to her husband. Some rewriting of history there, I think. I very much doubt he was seeing it that way at the time.

I watched the wedding special. Was so lovely to see the kids so happy, and especially the ones who don't film often, like Maddie and Aspyn. I agree the PDA was OTT! They do look genuinely happy.

Well I wouldnt hold my breath on this lasting. After being in that very unsatisfactory relationship with Kody for all these years she has rushed headlong into this like a starry eyed teenager.

How awful, my heart breaks for Janelle and all those who loved Garrison. Although Kody seems to have treated them appallingly recently, the family was clearly full of so much love and losing Garrison will hit so many so hard.

It feels like we've really watched them grow up in the show and although Janelle's boys were quite a handful growing up, she has steered them so well into becoming really good men with strong morals. RIP Garrison.
