Is anyone watching? No one I know in real life watches so I have no one to talk about it with- I'm on the current series on TLC when Kody is going all crazy paranoid about Covid

I wonder if Meri Janelle and Christine will have their own spin off show?

Meri doesn't seem to have a relationship with Christine at all. It's all very messy. They would probably though because of the income! They wouldn't have to be together doing it. Where are they all geographically now?

Meri is at the B&B I think but I don't know where that is. Where is Jenelle?

So, it's 519 miles between flagstaff in the south to Salt Lake City in the north. A eight hour drive and the B&B is in the middle near St George.

I hope Janelle isn't still living in the RV! She's very close to Christine still, but neither of them seem to get on or want to keep in touch with Meri. I feel quite sorry for Meri actually. After banging on about Christine leaving him with no discussion and how dare she just give up unilaterally on a marriage, Kody then breezily says he has decided he's not married to Meri anymore. She's kind of abandoned.

I read an article the other day saying two of the older children had said Meri hadnt been that nice to them and they didnt like her much. Bur Robyn had been nice. Who would have thought. Paedron was one i think.

She moved back into a rented flat during the winter (2021 I suppose) because it was too hard in the RV.

Then Kody started having a go at her saying she should have listened to him and she shouldn't have got the RV and she should have moved into Christine's house like he wanted.

Which he wanted just because that would mean Christine couldn't sell her house and get the money!

I reckon she probably has stayed in Flagstaff as her sons are there and her youngest daughter is still at school.

I readChristine will have a cooking /lifestyle spin off.

It was unforgivable that Kody didn't even call Savannah on Christmas Day. He's fighting with Janelle, so appears to have completely cut off her household! And watching him take Robyn's daughter to get her ears pierced, when he wouldn't even see Ysabel at her high school graduation and left her to go through surgery without his support.

he very clearly has made Robyn his favourite wife. Wonder what will happen in the future, will he now recruit more wives?

I've just caught up on it and yes totally agree, what a shit for not calling Savannah. He's like a sulky spoilt child.
He absolutely beams around Robyn and her children and that I imagine would be so hurtful to the other wives and kids having to see it as I've not seen him act that way around them.
God knows why Meri hung on for so long, he was cold towards her for years and yes I completely get that she had an emotional affair and obv he was entitled to feel betrayed by that, but then work through it or divorce her.

Also I hate the way Robyn goes on and on about how she wants the family all back together and she would do anything but I really don't feel like she's being genuine

Robyn is a smug pain in the neck. I'd say it her fault the family split up in the first place. It was so obvious she was Kody's favourite. Serves her absolutely right if Kody goes off and finds a new younger wife.

I thought Kody's friend was quite interesting. He seemed to think about the impact of plural marriage and divorce on the wives. Kody seems to only relate that back to how Robyn feels though.

Yes I thought that was very telling how Kody immediately thought of Robyn.
He clearly gives no fucks about Meri and I think at that point he knew Janelle was done.
I think it was his friend though who mentioned that Kody was spread very think because he had 4 wives and everyone should remember that but it's Kodys choice to have 4 wives! Nobody forced him

And environmentally, it can't be good for one bloke to be producing 17 kids.

I hate it when men only care about their kids when they are in a good place with the kids' mother and as soon as they're done with her, they can't even be arsed to call the dc at Christmas!

Hadn't realised the new series had started! Just watched 1st episode. I can't believe Kody moaning on about how his wives don't "support him", i.e. behave exactly as he directs. He's such an arrogant sod.

I hate how he accuses the wives (apart from Robyn) of betrayal - when all they've done is make a few decisions to suit themselves, seeing as he's always with Robyn!

I wouldn't be surprised if Kody was after a new wife, he's had enough of the first 3 and the whole foundation of the Sister Wives franchise is multiple wives. He knows which side his bread is buttered, the production company will drop him like a hot potato if it's just the Kody & Robyn show.

I'm pretty sure I am only watching it now to see Christine's glee and waiting for Janelle to escape. No way I would pick it up if I stumbled across it now as it is all just anger and tears. It seems like Robin's kids are trapped in a house with an abusive man and it is being televised for entertainment. None of the kids deserve that.

I watch it on Sky and get real time updates on the family on you tube from 'Without a crystal ball'. several of the children have Patreon accounts now and she posts snippets from them.

I just watched it on catch-up - just want to yell at Janelle to LTB and that she will be OK! It's funny how events from years ago are searched for why this is happening now. I think Robin drops little clues around Kody how he should feel and then hide behind this whole hypocritical act. It's not her fault, but she's obviously not helping matters in her lovely bought house and 4 acres. I like Meri, I still think she has her own reasons for hanging around - and don't think it has anything to do with Kody. It is refreshing to see the realness of the shitshow this season - everyone so far comes across as nuanced individuals - to me at least!

Janelle is fabulous. I can understand the appeal of plural marriage to someone like her - fiercely independent but wanting a relationship and good co parent for her children. Kody's appeal was in how good a dad he was, but now he isn't even doing that, it does beg the question for a woman like Janelle, what is he bringing to the table?

Janelle always talked about how being in a plural family suited her as she could concentrate on her life outside of the home whilst still having a family.

She could work and do her hiking and camping without having to worry about childcare or making the dinner.
