I loved this week's episode so much, Carrie in her "Mille feuille" dress, sitting in the window was perfection. Although I am surprised they used that dress as it was from her time in Paris with the Russian which has negative connotations but, whatever.
My heart aches for Steve, he was so gentle and broken. I don't buy that the others would be so casual when Miranda told them she was leaving Steve, no one mentioned Brady or his feelings. Carrie and Charlotte have known Steve for years, they would have some sadness for him, they would feel some concern for Miranda giving up everything for Che.
I did actually start to like Che when they walked away from Miranda, I liked that they didn't want to cheat with a married woman. But a massive clue was when Che said "I don't do conventional ". That means they won't want to settle down in a cosy exclusive relationship with you Miranda!
I hated Miranda in the cab, so uncaring and oblivious to the hurt she has caused, Steve did not deserve that. Again, no thoughts as to Brady and sticking around to explain the new situation to him?
I really hope she doesn't get a happy ever after with Che as that would be completely unrealistic and twee. Che would be having their pick of hot young things not hanging out with Miranda (who can't walk in wedges, never noticed that before!)
Never seen so much of Carrie's hallway before, and the apartment seems lighter, airier more like a loft. New young neighbour was in Betty, if anyone has seen that.
The show seems to have grown into itself, calmed down on the issues and scaled back the very annoying new characters to make it more about the three women and their lives, just as we are coming to the end.
