To be fair, you've got to applaud Tracey for trying to get Amy as far from the cobbles as possible- otherwise she'll end up sewing knickers and marrying Max! But yes Manchester is just as good as UCL. I'm from Greater Manchester and I'd have been disappointed if my child had wanted to go to Manchester- purely because I wanted them to really spread their wings.

How many babies have been sold on Corrie already? Max, Amy, Tommy Duckworth?

If I recall correctly Amy was sold for £20k - you’d think the price would have gone up in 17 years!

Maybe it’s like the café - if you look at the price list now and in the 1999 episodes on ITV3, it’s hardly gone up! Roy’s been advertising curry and rice for £3.75 for at least 15 years (and hasn’t sold a single portion!)

And Alya would never have stood by and watch someone die without trying to help. Even the actress looked uncomfortable saying her lines.

If Zeedan had wanted to let him die and had badgered Alya into it, that would have made more sense.

Watched episode 2 last night. Why do we have to have another convoluted plot about Hashim's heart attack and Alya's ludicrous idea of lying to the police? It just gets worse. Bring back the days when the main plot was the corner shop running out of fish fingers.
