Could Curtis be the grandson but be estranged from his Grandpa. Hence Grandpa not telling Emma. If the only news he gets of Curtis is via Emma he wouldn't want to admit the link in case she stops talking about him.

The Grandson is odd if no reason, it could equally be I have a helpful Neighbour or carer that comes in every few days thought could have found the body. Maybe he will be at flat when Faye breaks in to mess with the You bend who she’s either clunk over the head or hello Curtis what are you doing here.

I doubt Curtis is the grandson. Emma would have been aware of him visiting regularly when they were together, but this was never mentioned

To be fair he spent about 6m off at hospital every day being a medical student so goodness knows where he really was. I’m hoping Curtis is long gone by now

We’re all going to be so disappointed if it turns out the grandson is no one we know; like with the ghost in the sinkhole storyline where we were all speculating and it turned out to be just an extra

I’m sure if the grandson does appear, he’ll certainly have an alternative name to ‘Jack’ as that name’s already been taken on the street. So it could be someone like Curtis or the drug lad, going by a different name.

Oooh i think drug dealer Jacob as the grandson is a good call, though i would prefer Dr. Ali, would love to see him back.

I’ve just caught up after a few days’ holiday - so much I could say, but not sure I can be bothered. For my next thread title I’m going to need things that rhyme with ‘crap’. (Maybe someone could get the clap?)

I really can’t see where the Emma and Fay storyline is going. It almost seemed to be played as a comedy plot at first - ‘Ooh, I’m glad that delivery bloke never saw me hair was a mess!’ ‘Er, yes, that’s my crutch - I was in fancy dress as Tiny Tim’. Of course - what else would a young black woman choose as a costume? Also, I know I’ve said this before, but why have the writers gone from making Emma ditzy but sweet to unbelievably thick? It’s such a waste of her character.

Frankly, the most exciting part of the new year so far has been the revelation that Dr Gaddas is a lesbian.

The grandson was called John, and Curtis was definitely called Curtis so I think that would be a plot twist too far even for Corrie! 😂
Maybe John Stape still isn’t really dead!

Summer's Oxford offer/rejection should be landing next week, so that's one drama off the list. Obviously, if she doesn't get into Oxford, her future lies in the factory sales team. Unless Adi takes pity and offers her an assistant manager's job within the Alahan empire.
