I bet you are awesome, it's not easy but it's interesting. Fizz could have been interesting.

MichaelAndEagle · 30/12/2021 20:30

I also hate this, women go from man to man, never single for long.

eggandonion · 30/12/2021 21:37

The gay characters don't stay single either.

Leaveitonthefloordrobe · 31/12/2021 00:18

I was thinking Eileen, but she's consistently been with men of questionable quality. Because, ladies, being with a serial killer is better than being single.

Except Mary.

I thought Jack left Tyrone the house and it there was no mortgage in it.

I thought so too.

@SpindleSpangle

Abi and Kelly oh-so-coincidentally being in the same counselling session was ridiculous.

I actually have no words for that.

Didn't someone tell Abi that Kelly was going, so Abi went on purpose to harass her?
Honeyroar · 31/12/2021 10:43

I thought she deliberately went to intimidate her.

thenightsky · 31/12/2021 10:56

I thought Abi looked surprised when she turned round from the tea urn and saw Kellie, so I don't think she went on purpose.

SpindleSpangle · 31/12/2021 11:32

The idea that Toyah wouldn't have mentioned the conflict of interest to the counsellor running the session is what had me eye-rolling. Toyah is herself supposed to be the world's most unprofessional a professional therapist and would know the rules. You never put a Looked After Child (which Kelly still is) in a position of vulnerability like that, no matter how obnoxious they might come across as being - and Toyah supposedly dotes on Kelly, so would have extra reason to use the rules to protect her.

If being true to character, Kelly would have herself said something about Abi being there; and, in character, Abi wouldn't have opened up like that in front of Kelly, but rather she would have had another j'accuse moment.

It was just too contrived and far-fetched, and I found it poor plotting and script-writing.

ItsFuckingJuneDadQuickHide · 31/12/2021 11:32

I think it was a group that Abi usually attends
What's with Toyah going in too and talking on her behalf, especially when Justine or whatever her name is had just said say as much or little as you want
and nobody goes to a counselling session to basically say if you carry on like this you'll end up like these losers
Utter bollocks
The writers need to buck up

Absolutely this. It was nonsense. Not to mention they were the only two talking!! No one else seemed to even be included in the circle.

Nothing can beat Blanche at the AA meeting.

Not wanting to boast, but I think I called it when I said Abi will recognise herself in Kelly and reluctantly save her Grin

‘Ken recently had an affair with an actress. Oh, it wasn’t Nicole Kidman or Glenda Jackson. She lived on a tugboat’.

Has Fizz seen Phil's new house in the flesh or is it all a con

I wonder if Abby is pregnant

Of course she is. It’s predictable as hell.

Would Faye be allowed to be a learner on Tim's licensed cab?

PinkDaydreams · 31/12/2021 20:50

Who was Abi texting and what did it say? I wear glasses and still couldn't see!!

I think Imran?
MaryAndGerryLivingInDerry · 31/12/2021 20:52

I don’t understand the point of this nonsense with Sarah and Adam. One of the actors must be leaving otherwise it makes no sense to break them up over Adam having sex with someone 10 years ago.
