I gave 2 to AJ and 1 to J&J - they were pretty much the only two I really liked and I really liked AJ and Kai's dance.

I absolutely hated Rhys's dance. He's obviously a sweetheart but I can't bear his dancing.

I voted Rose x2 as am worried about her and I want her to win. Also gave AJ a vote as I also want her in the final and felt she was under marked.

Cynthia's marking was ridiculous, 8s to Rose and AJ and a 9 to Dan. I hope Motsi is back next week, or if not that we can have a different guest judge, maybe one of the pros like they did with Anton last year, or a former pro like Karen or Erin.

I missed Motsi this evening. Her charming positivity is actually a necessary foil for the rest of it.

Funny you say that. I am always complaining about Motsi being too bubbly , but I actually missed her tonight

AJ's dress put me in mind of Cyd Charisse in Singin' In the Rain; Tilly's outfit looked like it was made from shredded Muppets.

I'm behind as always so will catch up with the thread fully later but... Dan's rumba didn't make me hide behind the sofa as much as I'd expected. However, they really are trying to get rid of him aren't they, making him do a rumba second!

Yes I thought AJ's dress was amazing and probably picked by Kai to highlight her amazing Cyd Charisse-esque legs.

I've been struggling to find a nice way to say that Tilly's styling this week made her look like a very ordinary British teenager at a sixth form disco, and in no way evoked the spirit of Rio de Janeiro.

Can't blame him, she looked unbelievable in that outfit. There's definite sexual chemistry there between them two.

How was Dan marked a9 by Cynthia, then Cynthia said how much she loved AJ and how amazing AJ was, then she gave AJ an 8??? For a dance that was about a million times better than Dan's?? The marking was insane tonight. Insane!

I liked Tilly's dance more this week than the one last week. Found it strange Gordon shouted out 'baby girl' to her when going up the stairs. I’m a Gordon fan but that was strange

Loved John and as other PP have said Johannes didn’t try to out dance him this week

It’s looking highly unlikely I’m going to get my £130 pay out if Dan wins. The shirt and trousers made it feel even more weird

J&J - loved their dance. Sexy, strong, sensitive, sensual. My fav of the evening.

I've caught up... J&J's AT was very very good but the strobe lights were unnecessary and they definitely benefited from music which worked with their dance. I thought Rose and Joe Varney's music was terrible for a Paso.

I think Tilly and Rhys will be in the DO with Tilly to go this week and Dan next.

I agree with pp that Tess has done something differently to/with her face but I couldn't work out what.

Loved AJ's dress. Kai was smokin'.

John and Jojo seriously sizzle. I would happily watch them get it on.

I really hope rhys is in the dance off.
Tilly was bottom of the leader board so surely if her and dan are in the dance off he would be saved

AJ and Rose both undermarked for me.

JJ balanced each other better, so either John was better or
Johannes toned it down.

Tilly obviously found it hard to play the role needed, although there were a couple of flashes of ‘sexy womanhood’ (?!) it was clearly cringey for her.

I voted for Rose and AJ then gave my third to Tilly. I suppose tactically Rose is probably OK but you can’t be sure.

John looked like he was feeling all those lifts in his core! I liked the tango, although I thought the pop Beethoven was about as successful as in the dodgy haunted piano number a while back.

Just catching up, AJ was my favourite by a long way, followed by Rose.

J&J marked too high imo. No constructive criticism, just fawning from the judges. Johannes still did most of the shining in that dance.

Rhys needs to leave, I think he needs a break bless him.

I thought Nadiya looked perfectly normal. She's a Strictly pro dancer doing a Rumba, she's not presenting a piece about sheep rearing in the Lake District for Countryfile.

For me, there's something rather endearing about a man that's a little on the starchy side - Dan - doing sensual dancing with a hot woman.

The fact that he's not terribly good at it just adds to the appeal.

(This may be a weird opinion, I know!)

Oh, it's a bit creepy to like the rumba when you are a little girl, Nat...

It's actually not so bad when they're , but when they're 12 and go into I think it can sometimes be a bit much!

Personally, I really like dancing basic rumba, but the wiggles and touching in the open choreography always embarrass me.

Nadiya is stunning. Gorgeous.
