I found AJ's CC a bit ungainly. Given that she's proved a beautiful and sophisticated ballroom dancer I feel they missed a trick by not giving her something a bit more musical theatre.
That was the first time since Week One that I was excited by John and Johannes. My only criticism is that the AT should feel improvised and organic, and at times you could see John setting up the next move.
Sorry, but I surprised myself by liking Dan doing the rumba. It just felt very natural, like a couple doing a romantic dance in a piano bar in a 1980s TV drama, like Moonlighting. Then he went and ruined it all by doing that irksome smile to the camera right at the end.
I chucked Rhys a vote because of his grandparents. Yes, I fell for it. I was pleasantly surprised by him doing a controlled, slow ballroom, too.
