I once got tapped on the shoulder by a security guard in a supermarket in SE London I was terrified and thinking I was about to be dragged off for interogation but he asked me where I'd got the Clarets top I was wearing from as he was a fan. I've also had someone skid to halt outside my house drag his friend/relative out of the car point at the BFC sticker in my car and try to engage DH in conversation (he was washing said car at the time) much to his confusion as he is a rugby chap and knows nothing about the beautiful game. We seem to have slightly hijacked what should be a Strictly thread ooops

Dan, Tilly and Rhys really should be the three to go before the final and they all have potential banana skins this week it will be interesting to see if they manage to pull off potentially tricky (in Rhys case tricky for him) dances.

Maximum trumpet is indeed a hell of find - hopefully good enough to drag us kicking and screaming out of the relegation places. Look what you've made me do, I tried to get back to the sparkly matter in hand and here I am talking football again. Sorry (not sorry) he really is brilliant!

I’ve picked up on Instagram that Tim and Amy went back to the studio to dance this week. I would have thought this was quite sweet but for the fact that Tom is asking fans to vote for which dance they should do, which smacks of a desperate need to remain in the limelight.

He's only asking his fans/Instagram followers so hardly touting for votes worldwide saying "look at meeeeee!" These people are already looking at him.

I get the feeling from Tom that he has never been rejected before and he has sailed through life - he has even been with the same woman since he was 13! So it must be difficult to process how it feels - not sure what the point of doing a new dance is though

'interact', sure, but carry on using a voting system from a show you've been booted out of? Get some self-respect, Tom. I don't know of any other ex-Strictlyers who do that.

Yeah, but I follow some ex-Strictly people on the socials and they aren't fishing for their followers' votes/attention like this. It just smacks of neediness.
