I wonder if Dan gets through again he’ll withdraw like that make contestant did years ago (was it John Sargent) when he realises public voting and not his dancing ability are getting him through, and that as a result more skilful and deserving dancers are being kicked out.

Whilst not in the top 3 (Rose, AJ & John IMHO), Dan is just as good as Tilly, Tom and Sara and even Rhys & I personally find him entertaining to watch, so no way should he withdraw.

I wonder... Unlike Danny, she’s no ringer though, is she? I take a pp’s point about Danny bound not to win, and thinking now, I never actually voted for Danny myself for that reason, although I rewatch his dances more than anyone’s.

In terms of leaving, I think it should go

Dan, Tilly, Sara (in any order)
Tom (unless he suddenly improves)
Rhys (he was only good at the Charleston because it suited his frenetic style)
Leaving AJ, Rose and John in the final. Rose to win (their show dance should be good!)

Totally agree with this!

I think AJ was let down by weak choreo and wardrobe. But no way was she worse than Sara or Dan.

I love AJ's mom.

I thought the comments were right for AJ's dance but she was under marked. I didn't like it much either. Apart from Aljaž's fierce face.

Aljaz's face must have been VERY fierce for you to notice it while she was dancing with Kai.

She'll be through though as even if she's in the dance off, unless she's against Rose or John (no chance that'll happen!) then she'll be saved so it's good they got this dance out of the way.

I'm a bit cynical about it too as I reckon they want to be able to show she's had a journey (bottom of the leaderboard & all that!) and to demonstrate that none of them are ringers. Otherwise there's no rationale to their marking her down so much as compared to others.

Dan's cringey mic grab preaching moment was enough to make me want to put my foot through the screen. I find him sanctimonious and overly pleased with himself. Don't see his appeal, Rose, Tilly, JoJo all the way. Still finding Rhys challenging.

I'm really not interested in any of them other than Rose this year. I've not got as invested with it as previous years. I can't put my finger on why.

i prefer Dan to Tilly. I notice Daddy made sure everyone knew who she is lol.

Aliash (how do you spell his name) was sweating so much. with they would give them a towell.

I'm still waiting to see Sara actually dance independently. All the others have and she's consistently overmarked.
AJ and Kai kept smiles on their faces while they were slated by the judges. Aliash's big smile soon disappears if he's criticised.
Dan isn't great but he can actually move on his own!!

I think people vote for Dan as they prefer him to rhys , dancing like Mr Tumble on speed, or Tilly , theres my dad.

'Mr Tumble on speed' 😂😂 that's why the Charleston suited him so much.

Dan and Sara are the weakest dancers in my opinion . Overall Dan is the weakest , although his dance was better yesterday

Lots of the celebrities mention relatives in the audience. Tess and Claudia both mention other celebrities'' relatives. They have video links to other celebrities' relatives. I don't get why Tilly gets slated for it other than people don't like Gordon.

It’s getting ridiculous the scores Dan got last night ....he’s dull , can’t dance and is monotonous....surely he has to be out tonight ! This series is poor in comparison to other years...

Agree that this is a poor series. It started off well then went downhill. I only watch it for AJ and Kai and Rose and Gio. Not really interested in the others tbh

This might sound a bit daft, but does anyone else feel a slight pang of disappointment when they realise the choreography for such a stunning routine wasn't done by the pro in the partnership?

I don't know whether I missed it mentioned last night, but I didn't realise Gio hadn't choreographed their couples choice last night and it was two outside choreographers.

I know it's the case for some of the dances and it doesn't make me think any less of the dance.

I know it's the case for some of the dances and it doesn't make me think any less of the dance.

This explains why I found it so treacly. Usually, Gio's routines have a a little more bite and sass to them. I would prefer the pros to do their own choreo.

Having said that I don't know whether that means the pro and Celeb have 0 input into the routine and the entire thing is produced by the outsiders, or whether it's a totally collaborative process?

It would be interesting in the final or instead of having an "A - thon" if routines like that could be re produced by the pro to see what difference it makes - if that makes sense!
