If Carrie is no longer with Big, I don’t think I want to watch the new SATC

I don’t know for sure, but I’ve heard rumours that Carrie has a new boyfriend in the new series And Just Like That. Not sure when it’s out. I know Big vs Aidan was a contentious issue, but I was always team Big, love him.

Omg! I didn’t realise there was new series. I just started from S1 as much like friends I’ve seen them all just not in the right order. I need to power through!

I really don’t think that Big will be killed off. I think they’re just going to continue the Carrie and Big on/off thing to keep people interested. It would be pretty boring with all three women married and no Samantha.

What are they going to do about Samantha? Will she be dead?

I heard he's in it but they're divorced. If so I'll be pissed off at the years of Big bullshit we had to endure only for them to be bloody divorced. I can't get over her forgiving him for LEAVING HER AT THE FUCKING ALTER and yet dumping Aleksandr for 'having to work a bit'.
In fact I've now decided now is the perfect time for my rant.

She meets a handsome Russian artist who is shitting money. They have a wonderful time and he moves her to Paris, pays for eeeeeverything and she lives in a beautiful, luxurious hotel which I couldn't even afford to cross the threshold. But, OMG he has to work a bit. So she's fucking crying on the phone about it. And there's not enough for her to do. IN PARIS. THERE ISNT ENOUGH FOR HER TO DO IN PARIS. ON AN UNLIMITED BUDGET. oh the hardship. The suffering. Literally. Come and live on our council estate and sit in the house with a disability while your husband works six days a week 12 hours a bloody day and still you can't afford to put the fucking heating on and THEN ring Miranda and fucking cry. You absolute spoilt brat. Jesus.

According to rumours she's not dead they have just drifted apart as friends. I don't know how they are going to spin that as they were all such close friends for years and went through a lot together.

The whole point of the book was that Big would never commit. It's really annoying that they changed it to marry them, an artistic and psychological betrayal. Ending the marriage would not make up for it either.

I agree tangled it will be carrie and big on off all over again. I always liked aiden first time round but on the rewatcg definitely Big for me.
Samantha was the funniest and also really pulled on my heart strings I don't think this will be half as good without her - also really like the actress in RL so am hoping it's a flop to vindacate her as I think she was treated like shit by SJP and others.

Apparently she's not the person who's died and her character has fallen out with Carrie who fired her as her publicist

I like Chris Noth, I thought he was excellent in the Good Wife...though that show needed to stop before it did!

I never liked Miranda being with Steve.

I wasn't bothered with Aiden at 25 but now I think she really lost out there.

If you look at the photos of them filming Carrie is definitely wearing a wedding ring in a lot of the photos (in many different outfits/scenes).

It’s SATC so there will definitely be a ton of relationship drama so maybe the split part way through, or she cheats, which wouldn’t surprise me,
I think they are definitely together at the beginning though as I’ve seen a lot of photos of them looking coupley in scenes.

I could find tonnes to do in Paris especially without my other half - it's Paris and even without the rich generous artist - Carrie is too demanding and moany -as it SATC2 where she was unhappy about the tv in the bedroom and if wanting to watch old black and white films ?
