Anyone watching? I love this series and fancy Perez He seems to have some extra timber on him.. I don’t like him in a suit, much prefer a fishermans knitted jumper on him..

Where were we left when the last series ended? Did he get together with someone? Someone who seemed to have shady motives? I can’t remember!

Oh, and in case you didn't know, the Hoswick one may or may not be closing. Emma is taking over Mackenzie's, so she's not sure yet what she's doing with it.

I wondered that too, but I think she’s too old. She looked 50+ and the missing teenager was a teenager in Jimmy’s working life, he’s mid 50s I think.

Yes, they said that young woman left the island twenty years ago, so the nun would be too old. Also she looked too different.

Maybe it is just me but Perez seemed quite dismissive of Tosh. He didn't want to listen to anything that she said.

Totally. Pretty sure it's going to bite him on the arse though. Otherwise why would it feature in the programme.

Did we find out exactly why Donna(?) murdered Lizzie's sister?

Would the missing woman have disappeared/run away at about the same time as the murder?

Donna murdered Lizzie Kilmuir ( Kate is the living sister) because Lizzie found out that Donna was pregnant ( with Duncan’s child) and Donna was in an abusive marriage and she thought her husband would kill her if he found out. Thomas Malone is the character who was in jail for that murder and then released back to hostile Shetland.

Seems a bit young if it was 20 years ago? Still possible. The dad is in a care home, though, so is obviously elderly?

Yes, perhaps it's a stretch. Although I would say that people who don't titivate their looks with make-up etc. could look older than they really are.

I think I may watch it from the first episode again, as I feel as if I've missed important clues!

Can't seem to find her on imdb to see her age as a point of reference!
