When Tiff was talking about Lucy's hen do I was like, omg bring back Lucy! Bring back some actually interesting people.

Major cringe fest Monday night, the whole date with miles and Ruby….. I’ve never cringed so much in my life. The whole complimenting each other because they didn’t know what else to say, really uncomfortable to watch. !!

Miles and Ruby's date was just awful!! They have literally nothing to say to eachother!
"You look good".
"Yea you look good too"
"We should do this more often"
"Yes, we should, why don't we do it more often"
"I want to - cus you look great"
"Yea you look great too"

They are both so hot but my God they are so dull. Its all in the chase for Miles anyway. His interest decreases the more available the girl comes.

James looked very like a ventriloquist dummy during his and Maeva's date.

These people are so young and hot and yet there is no sexual chemistry at all! Tristian and Liv might be a disaster together but at least they seemingly have no complaints in that department!
But her telling Rex to fight for Ruby was v telling to me - she just loves the drama. Thinks that everything should be a fight and its all about huge declarations and grand gestures, - breaking up, "fighting for eachother" then getting back together. It really doesn't need to be so hard Liv. But sure, thats what yours 20s are for!

Very disappointed that Emily took Harvey back so easily. As ever, we need more of Fred and Sophie and less of just about everyone else. When I saw they were at "Tiff's Family Home" for the rounders scene I got all excited that Lucy Watson might ride in to rescue this shitshow by telling them all a few home truths. But it was not to be.

Ruby is just horrid - continually awful to Rez and so rude and nasty to Sarrah with 2 R's. She's also not as pretty as she thinks she is. Can't wait for Miles to shag her and lose interest. Their flirting/date scenes were tedious beyond belief but I'll sit through more of it if I get to see MARK FRANCIS AT SOFT PLAY. I want it to be a proper eighth-circle-of-hell soft play at a garden centre in Wembley though, not Purple fucking Dragon in Chelsea which is probably where they'll go.

Pleased to see that Olly and Gareth's baby-buying storyline seems to have gone away.

What the actual fuck was Ruby wearing on that picnic? Is that fashion now? Jeez.

I'm likewise delighted that the baby-buying spree seems to have passed. That was the ugliest storyline on MiC ever.

Just watched E8. They all look massively underdressed - still in summer clothes but this can't have been filmed that long ago. They'll catch their deaths.

Canadian Nicole's makeup was awful in a different way in the scene with Emily - shiny face gone, dark gothy lipstick now a feature. Then shiny again for the awks date with Julius.

Inga exploring her lesbian side... snore. Didn't we have this same plot with Liv or one of the other girls a few seasons ago? Why is it always the girls who have these ridiculous contrived storylines where they dabble with being gay? We never seem to see Miles or Julius dating a guy for a change, do we?

Loved James' "not today" to Maeva when she started growling about Verity's presence at Liv's pool party . She was right about Verity's haircut, it was awful.

Looks like there are some good showdowns lined up for next week!

Verity's extensions were awful though! Much worse than the haircut. They were like frayed rope.

@slalomsuki I wondered the same about James and his job having seemingly just messed around playing polo, two timing girls on spontaneous trips to Paris and revving around Chelsea in super cars.

Apparently he is taking over the family business in sales engineering. So having to earn the money which funded said polo/Paris/ super cars.

I thought Maeva was borderline emotionally abusive with her outburst over Verity last week. It was quite disturbing and very OTT even for her. I don't think if someone spoke to me in real life I would just sit there and take it even with a friend there.

Not well matched in my opinion.

Can't get over how manipulative Ruby is. I always thought she was a wrong 'un. Can't blame her and Rez for being a bit teenager-y though, since they were literally teenagers when they got together. But Ruby's lying and gaslighting is unreal!

@sweatervest - just a very small point - it would be hard to do a bus tour of MIC because hardly any of the venues are in Chelsea and they all live elsewhere - the programme does do a good line in stock photos of Chelsea though. I reckon Ravenscourt Park is about as near as you get to where they all "hang out"

God Ruby is such a knob. And looks 45. And she’s had her lips done. Emily’s hair was like one of those spray on wigs in that restaurant scene. Tristan nips were practically hanging out in that shirt… button it up, man!

Maeva’s dad’s hair 😅 I thought French men were supposed to be effortlessly hot, not be-denimed and hitting the Just For Men. Why was James talking in a kind of weird, cod Franglais accent??

Sorry Miles is going away for A COUPLE OF WEEKS?? Is that MIC code for six months? Cos that’s the only thing that could explain the sad music and ensuing conversation about seeing how things are between Ruby and him upon his return.

God Ruby is awful, I just don't see the appeal. And that hideous drawl she has where she hangs in to every vowel. Fingernails down a blackboard.

I've gone to hating James not minding him now. Although why he saddles himself with mental Maev is a mystery. I can only think that off camera she might actually be just slightly bonkers instead of the screaming nutter she frequently portrays. Her dad though - eurgh. Could smell the garlic sweat through the tv. How did half his genes contribute to Maev who is, despite everything, simply stunning.

Did I miss something about Emily and Harv getting back together again? I mean why? He's such a sulky man child. Love Emily, she seems quite sweet and charmingly daft.

What amuses me is that apart from Mark Francis - not one of them lives in chelsea - they just go to a shoot.

I am getting really fed up of the rising inflections and the "like' like" and the whiny voices - but will give it one more go - guilty pleasure. But Habs I find too annoying , Emily also & Ruby . Miles and the chap with the glasses also annoying.

My two favourites are Olivia and Maeve - Maeve is a bit mad but she makes for entertainment & I do like Liv.
