Maeva does behave appallingly, she knows it too and does have insight and apologises but my god she’s hard work. Sometimes James seems wide eyed and incredulous at her behaviour. He might find it “endearing” now but she’ll need to grow up before she has kids or she’ll get into fights continually at the school gate, pta meetings, kids sports activities etc etc etc. He’ll spend his life apologising for her behaviour.
And imagine trying to divorce her! You’d need to second guess everything she says and does.
I would not like my son marrying someone like Maeva at all. I wonder what James’s family think?!

Do you think she has BPD? She actually seems very sensitive and as you say, does have insight into her behaviour. I'm sure MiC producers do everything possible to wind her up and get her to react, too. She is probably a lot calmer and more thoughtful when she's not being pushed to perform for the camera. I hope so, anyway!

Yes MIC producers wind her up, no doubt. She is great telly! Why does she care about Felicity so much, that was very strange behaviour, that beef was 2 or maybe even 3 seasons ago so probably even the producers had no idea she’d go off like a rocket when Digby mentioned her. Digby obviously had no clue he’d cause that reaction either , he probably thought it would just be a nice chat!

Haha nooooo it was such a weird thing for Digby to do, to ask James' permission to date Verity. What's it got to do with him? And in front of Maeva? That was definitely scripted by producers with the hope/expectation that Maeva would flip out.

To be fair to Maeva, I think that would annoy anyone. Why on earth would James get any say over Verity's dating life, and why would anyone think it remotely appropriate to ask him this in front of his partner? I thought it was a very obvious and stupid set up.

You’re right beastly that’s was a very weird thing for Digby to do off his own back. So yes must have been the producers! I had completely forgotten James and Felicity had even dated and if you were going to talk to anyone about it it would be Tristan. Not that Digby should talk to anyone at all

I think Digby's moved on to the fragrant Nicole now, so he will have to clear that with Cringey Julius I guess!

I know there's someone for everyone and all that, but anyone can find Sam Prince attractive is beyond me.

How is Verity suddenly hot stuff? Last series or maybe even a few episodes ago she was always runner up. And she really liked Diggers to start but now fancies man child Sam?

Verity is a spoiled little girl. I’d be embarrassed at how she behaves if I was her mother.

I used to like Verity but she mistakes being 'fun' for actually having no scruples as to who she goes after and testing men like s**t! Poor Diggers.

I quite like Verity... I mean I'm not arguing that she's not spoiled or anything else that pp said, but she's way more entertaining than some of the others! And also I thought everyone pressurising her to kiss Diggers was a little bit dodgy. She's allowed to have boundaries.

I liked Inga dumping Sam "Prince" but seems like she's going to give him a second chance to fuck her over. Would have been good to see a mic woman standing up for herself for once.

And for my final comment on this week's instalment: why is Julius such a whiny little dick?

Just watched the Christmas episode…….(ps why was it summer?)…..
Firstly, please, Inga, do not give that shiny faced, little Billy Bunter-esque, Sam Prince another chance. What is his appeal? Maybe I’m too old (definitely too old) but he just looks and behaves like an unattractive child.
Love Fred (but only now that he’s grown up a bit, he was very odd in the beginning) and Sophie, we need more of them. And please bring back Proudlock…….and Boulle……..
Oh, and finally, can someone just slap Ruby and Tiff for me? Thank you.

Sam Prince is still trying to model himself on Jamie and Spencer a few seasons back. He seems like he copies some of Jamie’s speech and mannerisms a bit - maybe the writers are trying to fill the lovable cad gap?

Mark Francis and Lady V were good tonight, they do seem to have a lovely friendship.

First of all, I would like to make it clear that I’m sorry that the baby didn’t make it.

But the ‘we’re pregnant’ announcement? No. No you are not. Women get pregnant. Not men. Sex matters. It infuriates me.

They have no idea what a woman goes through and certainly no idea of how it feels to lose a baby. They are losing the dream of being parents and are understandably upset but they do not, nor will they ever, know how it feels.
