Last week the detective man said to her something about a place , as if something bad had happened there in the past?
Tonight it wasn't even mentioned.
I still think she isn't the victim she is making out to be?

The dress was lovely, but she'd have looked well if he'd have taken her to bowling followed by Frankie and Benny's.

Exactly, and having been in an abusive relationship myself, though not any where near as violent, in my own experience you do everything to reduce tension and upset in the children, as there's too much already.

That scene was jarring.

Oh yes! Plus he left it on the table and not in the locked room! I bet this is another amnesia story .. they were popular a few years ago! She might have murdered the woman herself and forgotten it !

My husband just said it's very predictable! And he never normally works anything out!

Just finished watching - really don't think I'll be back. Dislike every character, wooden acting, clichéd script. And really, how to mess up your kids! Openly lie in front of them that they'd spilt the ink when they knew they'd been nowhere near, then the rabbit incident. There's no warmth from her towards them.

All the characters are massively unlikeable including the stage school acting kids.
Waste of a plot line.

The PI guy said to her on the phone that she can't run or go to the police about the murdered girl because of Edgewater. Nobody would believe her.

The PI is always very sharp focussed, almost as if he's right there in your face but not quite. Not sure how to describe it, a bit creepy. Maybe he's a figment of her imagination? Perhaps he's the devil or angel on her shoulder giving her a purpose to leave?

Oh I don't know. But I'll stick with it.

Whatever “Edge water’ is, it will obviously be relevant. I really was looking forward to a new Sunday drama for the autumn. But this just isn’t grabbing me, the acting is not great. And it’s obviously building up to some kind of huge plot twist. Which I do t like - I want a twist to be buried so deep that an Aussie slaps you round the face with it at the end!

When I saw the rabbit's remains I assumed it was that weird dead thing they kept showing in the last episode. I'm confused 🤔

My thoughts on this so far.

Joanne Froggat is a bit wooden. Sorry, that's mean but she is.

The creepy stalker guy is hot. Although the part he is playing is pretty creepy which is a shame.

I also liked her blue dress.

She's never that friendly or warm with her two lovely boys.

I thought he was too until he got all bug-eyed and creepy.

I think the dress was to make us feel like her. She never knows what will set him off, so her wearing a different dress got us all tense wondering what he’d do. Then he doesn’t react, leaving us confused.
