I thought this was quite good in the end! Last 2 episodes.

So many disappointing dramas have been on, not just this one.

Thank god, I’m a celebrity is back on Sunday!

I think this is the worst drama I have seen in a very long time.
Even Joanne Frogget could not save it.I
No likeable characters at all, even the kids got in my nerves.
I agree that the dog was by far the best actor, even the dead fox seemed to our act the rest of them.
Totally, ridiculous, boring, wooden drivel.

On the whole I wish I’d watched Modern Family ‘Strangers on a Treadmill’ again as it was much better and much shorter.

Could have cast this emoji 😐 in all the main parts of this drama.

Much more charismatic and waaaay cheaper.

Totally ill- thought out. Unless the thug kills Theo, he will be after her additional nice he has recovered. The husband will be out eventually too. While thing abismall.

I am not sure the thug was at the door...then again why show it? Yes I did think that once he recovered from his beating that he would come after her in some way!
Also very true about the drawing of theo.
Overall I didn't mind it and it was OK to watch of an evening with crisps and wine(probably why I liked it..the wine blurred the edges!)

Joanne Froggatt always seems to play the same role - decent, caring woman who suffers eternally at the hands of bastard men. She played the same role in Cheat and also in Downton Abbey except as a servant in a pinny. The clothes were the only real difference. Lots of whining, martyrdom and abuse. Why can't she do summat different? [rolls eyes]

No she was in Liar, not Cheat, that was Katherine Kelly I think.

And is it safe to say that even though Olivier and Theo were absolute scumbags, she too was perhaps maybe just as bad as them

-she did agree to plot and kill her husband and have him the sleeping medicine.
-smashed up and vandalised a car showroom.
-arramged for theo to be beaten to a pulp ny whoever was banging at the door.

At certain points I felt sorry for her, other times I was like, well that was a stupid choice !!! And her acting was rather awkward in several scenes.

Safe to say, I had my fist raised everytime Olivier and Theo were on the screen. Also, why was he always wide eyed!!! For at least 48 out of 50 scenes lol.

That was so plotholey, I have no idea what the crap I've just watched.

Did she shop Theo to the police?

She shopped him to whoever he had crossed previously (something to do with the false testimony regarding the guy she found) and they were apparently very violent individuals.

@purpleme12 No think it was to do with nasty guy put away when Theo gave fake statement in court for the original car dealership owner who then had to give business to Theo as payment.

It was a good plot idea but disappointing execution, which seems to be common theme for tv drama's lately.

I just wondered what she was supposed to be living on after being in the psychiatric facility, her car alone was expensive to run. 🙄

No idea where the car came from - assume evil husband had to let her keep the car to get to contact centre for the kids?

As for money to live on there was the scene where she went to bank as he had drained/closed the joint account and she was allowed to open her own account with a £1500 overdraft so I assume that's what she was living in for the time being.

It was so rubbish, can't actually believe I carried on watching it!

So Theo owned a showroom full of flashy motors which must have been worth many hundreds of thousands, if not millions, but she offered him a pair of earrings (or rings?) worth a few grand (?) and he switched sides and setup Olivier, the guy who had previously burned down the showroom! Bizzare.
