Me too. I’d read about the storyline and was expecting it to be a split-second, ‘Who do I help?’ thing, but Dev was virtually treating Aadi as an annoyance. As another poster said, I think it was meant to be a case of Dev helping the unconscious child, but it wasn’t well done.

I agree with the poster who said Aadi probably isn’t dead.

For the posters asking where the Horror Nation Street thing is happening, have you ever seen the gates with Nuttall’s Brewery on them? Apparently the brewery is disused and the event is in there. I assume Ray bought the site when he and Debbie were planning the redevelopment.

As for why Halloween is two weeks early, I think they just couldn’t resist the theme. This week is always the big stunt week in soap (hence the perilous outward bound trip in Emmerdale) - I read somewhere that it’s one of the biggest weeks of the year for viewing figures, as summer is definitely over, the nights are drawing in and people aren’t going out as much.

I tried to summarise events for someone familiar enough with the characters but not currently following the show. It took a long time and I'm not sure they believed me, but Corey and Abi's abrupt descent into Hades got the best reaction.

Who knew that gails sinkhole had such beautiful sewers underneath, it was like something out of Ancient Greece !!

Oh god! Why do they want line of duty in Corrie? have people become so addicted to the high drama, tense thriller shows that they can’t appreciate a soap for what it is (or should be) anymore?

The thing is, ITV still doesn’t have anything that gets better ratings; certainly not all year round. Advertising revenue is a shadow of what it used to be, but I’ll bet you’ll still pay more for a slot during Corrie than anything else on commercial TV.

I got so fed up of nothing but Abi and and gun and the Halloween scare mask that I switched channels and watched something else.

Sounds like I made the right choice.

The story lines used to be centred around t'Rovers, t'Factreh, t'Kabin, t'corner shop etc.

I thought her story line had recovered and she was all better now. You know, like Steve Tilsley's head injury that he's all cured from now. So he will have to find another excuse for being angry, snappy, sarcastic etc.

I know Argos have the sponsorship ads in the UK, but I don't think they do in Ireland. I don't know what company does. So they might be wasting their money.

Everyone else- totally oblivious to everything I’ve mentioned.

I’d forgotten one of my favourite bits - when Debbie was still trying to desperately pretend to the reporter from The Gazette that all was okay and the night would progress as normal despite the weather. Would any reporter in the world give an event a bad review because the managers shut down during a torrential thunderstorm?

A bad review in T’Gazette can apparently still destroy a business. In real life people would only pay attention to a local paper if they picked one up outside the tram stop because it’s bin night and they need something to wrap the vegetable scraps in.

I think Debbie is my current favourite character, and i feel like dressing in her style. She loves a print.

Yes. And she said "t'ole" when she should have said "th'ole" so she got it wrong anyway.

I love Debbie too. Her style, while not something I like myself, really works for her, especially the colours she wears. Wish I could pull off that hair cut!

I think Johnny is for the chop too - and Carla has been calling him Dad a lot lately so that will add to the pathos.

Johnny is a bit of a spare part these days. But why has he suddenly got a hankering to go to Bali? That seems a bit unlikely to me.

He should take Carla to Bali. Just for the tongue twister.
