I was confused by that too. I didn’t realise the salon was closed. So has Maria been working only in the barber shop now? And ok or Emma seems to have disappeared in the last month but she worked in both the salon and the pub. So is she only in the pub now? Although it seems it’s only daisy and Jenny there now.

I just googled the Sebs Dad actor to see if he's related to the Paul actor (he isn't). Apparently he died in 2012 He looks pretty good for a corpse

I miss the humour and the general human touch. The scenes that stick with me are Hilda opening the parcel of Stan's effects, and Blanche at the AA meeting.

Blanche at the AA meeting was the best ever Corrie scene IMO.

Ken had an affair with a character played by Stephanie Beacham. They used to meet on her barge when he was taking Eccles the dog for a walk.

They used to 'take tea' and talk literature. Give me strength !

I nicknamed her, 'Boatyard Betty' the character, not the boat.

I think their affair ended when she 'cast off' from the bank in her boat and Ken went home to dreary, er, I mean Deirdre.

Just as well, Eccles the dog I think that's the late, 'Eccles' the dog must have been exhausted from all that walking to cover up Ken's latest affair. It's noticeable he doesn't have a current partner of any sort i.e. no forbitten fruit to chase once he's in a relationship.

I thought Ken and Claudia were a couple now? Didn’t he move into stagnant pond with her?

He wasn’t happy there, so he moved back to the street and left her and her teeth behind.

Jack's acting is as wooden* as the false leg they seem to have forgotten he has.

He's only supposed to be 11?? I thought he was about 15/16!! It was the 'I hate you' that got me, I reckon glory could have given more emotion
