Why did they basically repeat the "Shona gets shot at Christmas thing in some previously non existent part of the street" but with Halloween decs?

I think Dev ignored Aadi's pleas for help because his thinking was that Aadi was conscious and therefore "OK" whereas Asha wasn't. I wouldn't blame new head Aadi if he wanted to leave. Imagine joining Corrie and then realising its shit and you need to get out before you ruin any chance of an acting career.

Why are there always multiple disasters at the same time in soaps. We can't just have a car crash, half the street has to collapse as well.
