I had to mention that bizarre barnet It’s all I can look at in any scene with the Nazirs!

While we're all admiring the sumptuous locks of Jenny, Asha and Aliya, let's not forget the generous barnet sported by Gail, which in the past has earned as many sideways comments as Zeedan's. I think Gail has a fine head of hair for a woman in her sixties, and if it wants a bit of taming from time to time, there's always Claudia lurking in the background if old Aud's eyes aren't quite as reliable as they used to be.

I dread to think! My DH asks why I bother watching as all I do is moan and hurl abuse at the screen. He doesn't understand that I have been watching for as long as I can remember and I'm 54. I remember Ken Barlow's wife getting electrocuted and my older sister patiently explaining that the actress wasn't really hurt.

I can vaguely remember ena sharples and Albert Tatlock. My husband used to be very snooty about Corrie, but liked Brookside. I worked in quite an upmarket intellectual company, but my friends in the canteen were the Corrie watchers, back in the days of Terry Duckworth.
I dont like crime dramas, and i wish they would stop all the criminal stuff. Imran and Adam can stay for property stuff and divorce, Craig can stay to help old lady find their cats, and stop the traffic to usher duck families back to the canal.

I wouldn’t mind the occasional criminal storyline IF they actually did them properly, rather than just throwing a load of action at the screen with no facts that add up.

I miss the humour and the general human touch. The scenes that stick with me are Hilda opening the parcel of Stan's effects, and Blanche at the AA meeting.

Regarding Zeedan's hair, dare I say it but I think it's what passes for fashion these days. I have seen a couple of men on my Facebook feed with identical hair styles to Zeedan and they go to a specialist barber for their look.
