Such sad news about Robert - hope he is OK.

He has withdrawn from the competition due to ill health.

I do hope a Robert is okay and it isn't anything too serious.

He’s had to pull out due to heart issues apparently.

He had open heart surgery last year, it's connected to that.

Jeanette read a statement from him on ITT just now. Symptoms that worried him after his open heart surgery so is withdrawing on advice from his doctor. Apparently you can read the statement on the Strictly website. Poor Robert - what a shame.

I wonder if they didn't release the song list this week because they were waiting on the Robert situation and planning to give his song and theme to someone later in the competition? They've given the planned dances of departed couples to other couples before in the series.

Aw shame about Robert, I felt he was on the verge of doing a lovely ballroom and surprising everyone. Hope he's feeling ok.

Aww. I would have thought he would have made it to Halloween had he not become poorly. Misses out on the 15k bonus, poor sod. We did speculate about his heart condition on here back in August. Feel for Diane as well, maybe she will get a ringer next year.

Wow, I think the dancers should get paid more. I know it's only a few months, so it's a good rate, but I'd like them to be really well rewarded. (and Shirley a little less rewarded)
