Anyone watch Succession

Who is your favourite characters in Succession. I thought this was one of the best shows I have seen in ages, can't wait for new season which will be out soon. Lots of great characters in it. Greg, Tom, Roman. Love to hear your take on it..

Oh my!

Magnificent. Truly awesome. I am so, so envious of the people who get to work on this show. The writers, actors, sound designers. The directing. Just … wow.

Watching Kendall walking down a corridor and visibly ageing with every step … Shiv throwing not just her tights but her spouse to the dogs. That was cold. (Though he was snippy about the housekeeping, so …) And I want some sort of Keeper of Humanity prize for Roman.

This season is epic. One of the best things I have ever seen on any screen.

It was very good. How old is Shiv supposed to be? I liked that Roman and Con refused to sign the letter.

Was Kendal smirking at the end?

I think she's meant to be around 33, 34ish.

The rousing signature music is beginning to grate a bit.

I think I need to rewatch this episode because it's one where tiny details might add up. Agree that Kendall has come down off his messianic high and the physical shrinking into the scared boy is a brilliant piece of acting by Jeremy Strong. But the FBI raid at the end might cheer him up.

Loved Geri's riposte to Logan, "No, these are the sort of agents that don't fuck off." She's becoming increasingly blunt, isn't she? and could turn.

Will Kendall live to regret humiliating Greg over the watch?
What was the book that Shiv spat at? Might the Nirvana sabotage been an inside job by Roman?
Eyes on Roman - is he going to turn on Logan because of some sexual abuse either perpetrated by his father or nodded at? What's the source of his sexual dysfunction (and why does everyone know about it?)

I have just watched it again. After Shiv goes into Kendall's office and sees the speakers, Logan says "I'm sorry Pinky. Now do you see?" So did he set it up in order to get her to sign, and try to persuade the other two to sign, the letter?

On the other hand, Kendall does give someone a shopping list when he is in the office. BUT he is wearing different clothes when he goes to the comedy place, maybe that was the shopping he asked for?

Greg thought that Kendall promised him an. expensive watch and was going to give it to him as a thank you for the papers. Greg was introduced to the person selling the watch, but it turned out that Kendall was only doing the introduction, not the purchase. But Kendall only said that at the last minute, in front of everyone, and Greg was over a barrel.

THe watch was 'only' $40k, but it's nothing to Kendall, probably a fair bit to Greg. But it was the public kick in the teeth (Kendall is a shit, and the particular kind of shit that being a coke-head is, but up against his shitty father, he can sometimes look less shitty. Logan's shit shits on Kendall's shit) and Greg might just store it up.

And yeah, having read a PP about the speakers in Kendall's office, linking it to Logan's fake concern for 'Pinkie', I agree that Logan set it up to harden Shiv against her brother.

It crossed my mind that it was Logan too, to drive a wedge even further between Ken and Shiv.

I do like the music too, but I suppose it's feeling to me a little overused in ramping up the gravity of every single situation. I'm amazed the characters haven't all died of heart failure given how stressful and dramatic everything always ends up.

Did you see Logan's security guy say to Kendall "I see you" - is that a threat about the car crash? Although Logan is implicated in that cover up

The scene with Shivs speech felt a bit weak to me. They made such a big deal about Kendal coming in to the office surely someone would have eyes on him and his people. How did nobody not notice these big speakers appearing?

Im rooting for Gerri, maybe her and Roman will become the dream team that comes out on top!
