Who is your favourite characters in Succession. I thought this was one of the best shows I have seen in ages, can't wait for new season which will be out soon. Lots of great characters in it. Greg, Tom, Roman. Love to hear your take on it..

Very much enjoyed Marcia's excellent power moves last night - and her lawyer's line, "Now, I am going to propose what sounds like a very big number, but compared with the cost of an acrimonious divorce...'. Perhaps some of the divorce/relationships threads could refer to Marcia outsourcing of the shit-eating (Logan said he can't eat shit, but she is making sure he does so, financially, while staying with him) to lawyers...I think she will be on manoeuvres to make sure Amir has a shot at the top job.

Roman excellent as ever, "Don't talk mean to me Gerri, I don't have time to jerk off.' Loved Greg (ory!)

Generally, things taking a bit of time to get going - still putting characters in place for this series. I hear talk of a 4th and 5th series, so it's obviously not going to be resolved quickly. I hope they don't overplay it - it would be a shame for something so sharp and intricate not to know when to retire.

I agree. On one hand I don't want them to end up ruining it by carrying on passed it's best, but equally I want more more more!

First two episodes fell a little "enclosed" like they were bottle episodes, I'd like to see them move out of these rooms. I'm wondering if it was due to covid restrictions whilst filming.

Actually I prefer this enclosed format.

I’m acutely aware of the presence on the writing team of super-successful British playwrights - so it’s fascinating to see them really flexing their theatrical muscles. A million other shows can portray people dotting about all over the place - that’s already familiar. But putting four people in a room and making them talk until they’ve torn each other to pieces - that takes a particular skill, and it’s much less common on screen.

Just fabulous so far.

Oh yes he’s nuts. But I felt for him on the irrelevant line. He’s been a bit out of the four of them. I like him as an actor too

Also, I think I’m in love with Ewan Roy. Prettiest, by far the best dressed, stone cold - just adorable.

I can't help but thinking "good pig" whenever he appears.

The format this week felt quite uncomfortable, like you want to see them swan off somewhere sunny to eat olives and continue the conversation in the style of the past series, but in retrospect I agree with edmontina that it's a bold and unusual move to have everyone so clearly (and secretively) feeling everything out like this.

Wonder if it was Logan who sent the donuts?
Glad to see Marcia playing her cards.

Marcia’s really intriguing. She has her own children too I think and I imagine as get an introduction to them at some point. I see the show has unsurprisingly been renewed for a fourth series to plenty of time for that.

Connor’s brilliantly out of touch with reality. I mean they all are obviously but he orbits his own refined world like no other.

Didn’t we meet Marcia’s son in an earlier season? (Though I’m perfectly capable of having invented those scenes.)

Yes, we've seen him. I didn't know/remember she had a daughter she alluded to in this ep though!

Ah I’ve googled and yes, Amir is his name. He’s been in a few episodes and apparently he heads up the European animation division. Maybe scrap that idea then!

Amir was in the episode Kendall killed the waiter, he seen Kendall come back wet I think.
