Anyone watch Succession

Who is your favourite characters in Succession. I thought this was one of the best shows I have seen in ages, can't wait for new season which will be out soon. Lots of great characters in it. Greg, Tom, Roman. Love to hear your take on it..

He said how hard he found to film the scenes in Scotland because he actually loves it so much, much unlike his character.

What I find hard to understand is why any of them want it! I mean, regardless of whether or not they work, they're going to lead billionaire lifestyles. Why put yourself through the stress?

Agree with the above poster but also in one of the interviews they mention that none of them can give up the power and prestige. If it was me I’d be Conor, double decanting my wine!

I LOVE Succession.

Think my favourite character is Roman - Kieran Culkin just seems to have such a good time playing him and he gets all the best lines: 'Ohh, dinner party! Racial tension! Kale!'

Can't help feeling sorry for Kendall but can't work out why as he is a complete shit who ruins other lives all the time. Can't wait for season 3.

I said that in Episode 1 of Series 1. DH said no way but despite that fresh face he is absolutely relentless at getting with them and making sure he nudges his way higher and closer at every stage. I love how people keep asking 'Is Greg here? How come Greg's invited?' No one knows, he is just always in there scheming while looking angelically stupid.

The storyline of the older brother running for president makes my blood boil. So utterly delusional.

I know. As if any pampered brat self-important idiot from a super-wealthy family would ever have a chance of... No, wait.

I love this show so much! Haven't RTFT so will catch up now.

Each character is worse than the last I love them!

Loved the first episode back. So many brilliant Greg moments - the media monitoring, opening the dusty wine! Roman is being particularly creepy around Geri, I hope she keeps him at arms length - he must feel like a son to her, it would surely be too weird. I think she's too professional surely?

I binged the first 2 series of these in time to get to 3 on Monday. I love it so much! There's so much brilliance in the details - like Greg(or-y)'s testimony; smooth Laird saying of Frank, "He does have friends in dry places', the awfulness (in a different, Brahmin way) of the Pearces -- I will watch it all again, no question. Tom and Greg are brilliant. Roman and Geri.

Favourite character - och, I am rooting for Kendall, even though he is about to go even more cracked than he already is. Neither can I take my eyes off Roman - Kieran Culkin is just fantastic in that role. Shiv is truly awful (well, they all are), but she seems to be the least damaged by Logan somehow, and more canny and manipulative than her brothers. I also love her proper big girl's bum, and the way wardrobe are always putting her in scoop-backed tops that point 'This way to Big Goddess Booty'.

And I guess they want it (to continue a previous discussion) because they are desperate to impress and be accepted by Logan. Even Shiv's political choices are designed to get her dad's attention, even if it's only to irritate him.

Lucy Prebble (I Hate Suzi) is involved (I think writing and directing) which also helps account for the dark, twisty humour. It puts me in mind a bit of Amando Ianucci as well (forgive spelling) with that jittery, faux-documentary camera work that they use in the earlier episodes.

Ive finally been able to watch the first episode of the new series and loved it.

And I just read this morning that Jesse Armstrong was also a writer for Ianucci's In the Thick of It and the film In the Loop. So that explains that.

Gosh, it’s good.

Seasons 1 and 2 were nothing to this - and they were amazing. The adrenalin of 3:1 and the gobsmacking sharpness of 3:2. So painful to have to wait a week for the next episode.

Also, I think I’m in love with Ewan Roy. Prettiest, by far the best dressed, stone cold - just adorable. And yes, Greg to take it all, poor little boy.

I can't help but thinking "good pig" whenever he appears.

I'm re-watching the first 2 to prep for the third. It is just the best show on tv - I am obsessed.

Although hate Holly Hunter in it - her voice is so grating and also hate the character. Find it hard to buy in to the fact that Logan would have so easily nominated her CEO as well.
