Anyone watch Succession

Who is your favourite characters in Succession. I thought this was one of the best shows I have seen in ages, can't wait for new season which will be out soon. Lots of great characters in it. Greg, Tom, Roman. Love to hear your take on it..

I've already mentioned upthread that I have the utmost respect for Stewies perfectly manicured beard. It's a work of art.

I also like that, yes, he's utterly selfish and self serving but he never pretends to be anything else. I remember Kendall asking him "can I trust you?" And Stewie replies "no" and Kendall says but can I trust you as friends and again he says "no". Fair play.

Frivolous point- do you think they were doing their own hair and makeup at the start of this season? A few of the cast didn’t look as polished as normal, but noticed a definite change in ep 5?

I’ve also been watching season 1 back, so many things I didn’t notice first time around. Kendal loving wearing a vaulter base ball cap for example - made me laugh out loud!

I hadn't noticed hair and make-up, but might the characters have made more effort for the shareholder meeting?

Maybe @IntermittentParps I spent a lot of time LOVING Shiv’s hair in season 1 and 2 and it wasn’t looking as lovely in s3. Also frank looked more unkempt at one point and Roman’s hair too. Just made me think 🤣

Roman looked dishevelled even at the meeting, I thought. Then again, he always does slightly, and I think it suits his character; like he's so privileged and arrogant he needn't care!

Alternative season ending: Caroline swoops in and wins over the shareholders with her costcutting measures.She bans the champagne and caviar, and serves mutton she has butchered herself with boiled cabbage, plus juniper gin she brews in her bathtub.

More seriously, I think Tom is going to go off the deep end.

Did Caroline ever get the Summer House? I remember her using it as leverage in S2. I’m sure I read that she will be making an appearance in the new series.

I don't remember this, but if she still has a good share of the company why was she not present (or even invoked) at the meeting? Not to mention Marcia.

PS So does Conor have a different mother of the rest of them? Think I read that on here but I can't recall if/how we know from the actual show.

Yes, he does. And as far as I’m aware we haven’t been introduced to the first Mrs Roy. (Don’t even know if she’s alive.)

I watched the first two seasons ages ago so don't remember details from them (I don't know if they've mentioned it this season?) Can't remember the Roman thing either; as I say, it's quite some time ago I watched most of it, and my recall is not perfect obviously.

Kendall, Shiv and Logan definitely share a different mother to Connor - that's why he doesn't visit Caroline with those three

I found the quote, Roman says Connor's mum got "sent to the booby hatch" which is apparently slang for psychiatric ward.

Regarding the article up thread, I am concerned for Kendall.

Connor definitely has a different mother to the other Roys. One thing that’s always bothered me though - the title credits with the four kids at the beginning and end. I know it’s only meant to be a loose representation of the family, but Connor is at least 15 years older than the rest of them, so why are they all kids together? Or is the fourth child supposed to be someone else?

I know, it puzzles me too. I'll have to pay more attention to the credits but I also didn't think they were that far apart in age.
