Anyone watch Succession

Who is your favourite characters in Succession. I thought this was one of the best shows I have seen in ages, can't wait for new season which will be out soon. Lots of great characters in it. Greg, Tom, Roman. Love to hear your take on it..

On the subject of Greg’s prospects - if I remember rightly the very first episode of S1 began with him, didn’t it?

Clearly indicating that in the end he will inherit the earth … (Or, at least, all the profitable and non-tainted bits under Roy dominion.)

Disappointingly (hugely) I had a look at a synopsis of S1, Ep1 and see that I was wrong! The whole thing started with Logan peeing in a cupboard in the middle of the night.

Abandon hope - maybe Greg will not inherit the world?

So it will end with Logan peeing into a bucket in his prison cell? 😱 *

By the way, the succession as a Greg/Tom Rom com is utter genius, brilliantly put together (I wish I was that clever!)

Agree. Tom snd Gregg together are delicious. I live for any scene with Tom in it though as he’s incredibly layered and there are so many complications from
His position in the family.

I've just re-watched the first three again. It's torture!

On Succession the characters can be entirely silent for a minute or longer and it’s still fantastic.

I really dislike Stewie and find his name really irritating! I want Logan to call him Stewart or something instead.

I liked the bit where Shiv says “I’ve drawn a line” and Logan says something like “there are no lines, ever, everything’s moving, always”.

Yes! So many good bits. "Terminal tom" browsing prisons, totally losing it and being really quite sexually intimidating to Greg.

The creepy never ending horror film esque walk with Adrian Brody. So claustrophobic. And the fake ill daughter.

Amazing acting throughout - Terminal Tom so sleazy with Greg, Shiv being undermined and that whole Adrian Brody section was incredible in its awfulness. Hands down the best thing on TV IMVHO.

I honestly do not know how I’m going to manage to wait a whole week. That was tense. Less intense than earlier episodes, but it had me pleading with one character not to say anything, and there were so many wonderfully gobsmacking moments.

Adrian Brody is utter visual and aural poetry (it’s a shame his wiki biog makes one raise an eyebrow).

Also I’m wondering if Marcia might be going to war again, before too long.

Am I really the only person (apart from the Independent’s reviewer) who rejoices in the origin of the episode title? I’ve linked it above. This must be a staggeringly satisfying show to write for.
