I agree @ANameChangeAgain, though I think I had a ‘type’ when I was a young’un. I didn’t have a set of rules in my head as such, but almost every single boyfriend I had as a teenager was skinny with longish hair and played the guitar (or the bass).

I ended up with someone completely unmusical and practically bald 😆

I’ve never been single as a proper adult really (was 20 when I started seeing DH) so hard to say whether I would have a ‘type’ as a single adult, but perhaps not.

I do wonder what "type" is all about anyway. It isn't like we choose partners as clones of each other, ie I will only date a hair colour, a skin colour or a boob size . Not one of my exes has been alike in looks or personality. If I had to say what my type was it would probably just be someone, to paraphrase Take Matt "someone who isn't a dick".

Exactly!! For goodness sake, I went from a 6’6 and lean blond, blue eyed guy (3 year relationship) to a 5’10 built-like-a-brick-shithouse rugby player with black hair and brown eyes (2.5 year relationship). If I had to say why I chose each, it would be things like their sense of humour, work ethic, kind nature etc etc, not their hair colour 🤦🏼‍♀️

The Aussie version is so much better than the UK one.

It was painful!! I hate feet anyway but I was dyingggg at him basically licking her toes, why did he have them so close to his face?! Weirdness all round. I don’t know whether I cringed at that more or at the awful dancing… I just feel like they’re so inexperienced and they’re trying too hard to be ‘romantic’ and it just doesn’t work… and probably shouldn’t be on tv 🤷🏼‍♀️

How come Brussel couldn’t have any guests at all? Get it if family were across state borders but not to have a single friend there? Not up on the rules in Aus but seems bit strange

I felt the same @YourFinestPantaloons. I think Sam was offended because he is the father of her children so still in her/their lives. No one wants to think their kids’ dad is dodgy, even if they’re no longer together.

But I’d have been thinking exactly the same as Coco- my judgement would be on the older man, not the teenage girl. I wouldn’t have said it out loud because I’m not as outspoken as Coco, but I’d definitely have thought it!

I don't think she was shocked, so much as angry out of defensiveness.

I reckon she's had to defend it before and knows exactly how it looks (is).

All of the men in this are punching above their weight, from a land that gave us the Hemsworth brothers and Hugh Jackman too.

Totally agree, and she repeated it multiple times, it wasn’t like she was surprised and it just slipped out. I think it was really unpleasant of her and just served to make sam feel uncomfortable… whether that was coco’s intention or not depends on her character I suppose. Haven’t seen enough to decide.
