I had high hopes for Sam and Cam and I'm a bit disappointed now. It was a bit dickish of him to say that he didn't feel an emotional connection with her after sex.

And yes, the bath. That can't have been his idea; the producers much have told him to do it. It was excruciating. Not only is he completely out of him confirm zone bit he's supposed to act natural with cameras there. It was very painful to watch and I'm not surprised she got out!

Tagging in. Am I the only one who chuckled at Patrick running the bath, narrating "just a drizzle of olive oil just like you're frying up chicken". That really entertained me. But that bath scene was one of the worst things I've ever seen

Also - it’s a minor thing but why the pretence of ‘Patrick has arranged…’ or ‘Jake is treating his bride to…’ or ‘Coco has arranged a romantic blah blah blah…’ when we all know it’s set up by the producers? It’s getting on my nerves! but not as much as Coco’s voice

Just catching up with last night’s ep. Brett and Booka seem like a lovely match. She is just exquisitely beautiful.

For those commenting on Sam leaving such young children to go on the show….the previous Aus series (series 7) had Poppy who left toddler twins at home. Perhaps not surprisingly, she cried almost all the time and left after a couple of weeks. Felt sorry for her husband who seemed like a nice bloke but she was so preoccupied with missing her children that she didn’t even begin to get to know him.

Yes her twin boys were only 2 years old! And she was miserable the whole time. It in fairness she was matched with a right munter

Also, something that both Poppy and Sam said is that they were looking for a male role model/father figure for their children. Perhaps I’m not in a position to comment as I am still with the father of my children, but surely when a single mum is seeking a partner she isn’t looking primarily for a father figure for them? I get that she would want someone who will be good for/to her children, but surely she is looking for a partner for herself, first and foremost?

I'm a single mum and I keep my OH away from my children because aside the fact that they're slightly feral and might scare hi (joking...a bit ), they don't need a father figure in their life, in fact they have a father and it's just complicated to shoehorn another bloke into their lives. Even if their dad wasn't in the picture I couldn't be arsed searching for a 'father figure'

Ah this one I can take a good guess at. I’ve friends in NZ and have spent a lot of time there myself and they don’t use the word bungalow at all, apparently it’s a very British word, but single storey homes are super common.
The real question is what do consider to be a treehouse if a treehouse as we know it is assumed to be a bungalow??

Definitely Brett. Apart from his looks, he has an amazing smile and he just seems like a really nice guy. Booka got lucky with him. In fact they got luck with each other. I hope the do well.
