Completely lost track of this now, both the submarine drama and the lesbian love affair.
What a disappointment. Especially for all of us LoD fans who just wanted to see Martin Compston.

That was a totally underwhelming ending.....

It's all gone a bit silly now.

6 weeks and a fairly thrilling 15 minutes to watch tonight. The end.

On a positive note next weeks drama looks good, well it’s got a great cast Tracey Anne Oberman,Rory Kinnear, Eddie Marsan.

Big coat and props in the way. Once you see the bump it’s very obvious.

I thought it all wrapped up nicely!

So despite sub being flooded and hover over heating , suddenly they manage to surface and Amy catch’s a helicopter

I thought the same - I came on here to try to understand what I missed! Why is it ok to surface now Doward has been discovered, but before that it was IMPOSSIBLE & must never be done? Sorry if I'm being thick...

Couple of the engineers did something with a wrench that sorted the bilge. No idea what but it was a quick scene!

It was ok because the us sub frightened the Russian subs away so vigil could pop up - 100 miles away they said in the office

The American ship frightened off the Russians. I think. So vigil was able to surface.

It says "about" eight months, so probably less, and that the shoot took place whilst her bump was "growing".

So basically not eight months.

But I digress.

Naff ending. So little oomph behind it after so many potential avenues at the beginning with Burke's videos etc.

Well that could have been over and done with in less episodes

Mediocre overall

Yes I got why they popped up. As the USA showed their missiles and the 5 Russian backed off

But it’s the how

But they manager to surface quickly when so much water below making them sink

And so they all covered it up

Plus we never found out all the secrets that mc had

@Newgirls ok, thanks - that makes more sense now, didn't realise that was all it took. And the point of it was all just PR? And we didn't find out Doward's reason for doing Russia's dirty work? (I had baby waking up at the end, so it's possible I missed more crucial info!)
Felt v underwhelming at the end. Sad about Prentice, but otherwise - meh.

It was the final scenes going to visit the little girl that made me notice - it wasn’t a huge bump. Of course, that scene may have been filmed early on in the process, but for me even at 5 months I was huge with DC1.

Yes not sure how the wrench action got rid of the all the bilge already in there.

Was expecting a tense scene in the chopper - no time!

So, which submarine sunk the trawler? The Russian one like they claimed, or Vigil and they've covered it up?
