The series that I can't stop watching even though the storylines are literally incredible. Anyone else clocked Olly for the new lab male totty? How can they possibly manage without Clarissa or someone else in her job?

Yes Nikki doesn't quite have the gravitas to be head honcho, does she? Poor Adam. That was a very short but sweet involvement with the team. Perhaps Harry is going to reappear as the Professor wishful thinking? Stranger things have happened...

I recently watched the first-ever episode that Nikki was in. She looked so young.

So the alcoholic Dr was going to kill Wilfred on the instruction of the older male research dr? But why?

You're not the only one! I went to write a reply but as I wrote it I realised that it made no sense either. Wilfred was evidence that the older Drs company were "farming" Wilfreds village for the stem cells and so needed to die to hide the conspiracy. Although i don't really get why the the alcoholic doctor was going to kill him or how he fits into the story really... Confused

I think it's quite telling that none of us entirely paid attention (I didn't either). I have found myself easily distracted watching both stories in this series so far!

Strange that they spent a fair amount of time featuring adam’s family, random stuff like not being able to swim, ‘reception arc’ potential with the mistake in his past… and then just killed him off? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I really don’t understand the surgeon’s death either.

I rather think that was the point. Like in 80s 'buddy cop' where the star has a partner two weeks form retirement, with one kid about to graduate (the first in the family) and the other about to have the first 'grandbaby'. Lots of wallet pics. Then he gets shot by a drug cartel and Arnie or who ever has to avenge him. I genuinely thought he was going to buy it last time, when he bought the kids into work, but then thought they were just laying it on thick because of Jack's paternity thing.

Erm - I don't think so. I reckon that'll form part of the series denouement. It's odd, though, that they've has to wait so long given that they were able to able to flash up Annette Badland's mugshot 0.07 seconds after placing a photo of a fingerprint underneath some sort of scanner. Marvellous.

It was an accident/self defence I think. Simeon the Cleaner went to confront him and the surgeon attacked him with the syringe. At some point Simeon w got it off him and stabbed him with it. (Was the cleaner Simeon or Simon? Something like that!) I think the surgeon was involved in the stem cell harvesting - he had shares in the research company as payment for A Job. Was there also blackmail involved because of the thrown away ECG from the botched op? Was that why Simeon went after him?

And because Simon had had bone marrow from Wilfred years ago... when Simon was slightly stabbed by the Surgeon.... that was how Wilfreds DNA got on the needle.

I'm not sure if that's true to life though that someones DNA is in you're body for that long 🤔 .... a solid organ transplant l can understand...but bone marrow??

But Nikki really doesn't have that type of relationship with Jack, in my opinion. With Harry, the chemistry loomed large and lingeringly (if that's even a word!) between them throughout!

I too wish Harry would be the surprise new professor heading the department!

I couldn't stick Harry. I rewatched the episode where were first introduced to the school shooter, and it's Harry who almost gets them killed by leaving the keys in plain sight, the plonker. Deeply irritating. And all his relationships were 🤢 I'd prefer her getting her end away with Jack, frankly.
