I seem to remember that earlier in the year on Granada news, there was a big article on air/road pollution, with parents of school children interviewed. Obviously they've tried to link it to that but you never see any cars driving down coronation street. And what was with the comment, "the kids used to play kickabout in the street". No they never did. When did Corrie children ever play in the streets? The whole thing is so bizarre.

They never played football in street. Pre double glazing windows were really thin no one would stand football being kicked around near cars or windows. Come on Sally!

And Jack, who I think was a great actor throught the whole amputation thing, was awful when Liam was struggling to breathe. Why did he just look at him for ages??

It was quite long time he was sitting on floor holding his chest before he shouted. Mild symptoms ok but he’s what 11? meanwhile clever Sam would have already diagnosed it and called 999!

They had David kicking a ball in the street at the beginning of the 40th anniversary episode - I believe they did that because that's how the very first episode began.
