Alina is barely showing yet she managed to find out what sex the baby is! George is like a pantomime character, Corrie is really scraping the barrel lately.

I know it’s only a soap but it pisses me off how inaccurate they are with pregnancy. Anyone can fall pregnant at any time at the drop of a hat, the first clue is always morning sickness, and local your hospital hospital will not only merrily give you a scan for a bit of trapped wind, but reveal the sex of the perfectly formed little baby at 7/8 weeks along too! Love it how then Alina had to lay prone on the sofa resting like a delicate little flower in a Charlotte Bronte novel.

And no one is ever induced or goes over their due date! It’s always a few weeks early and hardly ever in hospital!

Tyrone needs another baby boy who turns out not to be his.

When I went for a scan when I was pregnant with my first, the sonographer told me before I got on the bed that I wouldn't be able to hear the baby's heartbeat. She said 'it's not like on the soaps where they hear the heartbeat during the ultrasound - that drives me up the wall every time!'. Tyrone and Alina heard the heartbeat and all I could think about was they shouldn't be able to!

Also does anyone else think that the baby might not come out a boy? It was just the way Tyrone said they think it's a boy. I'm thinking they'll be all prepared for a boy but when the big day comes it will be a girl. They need a bit of birth drama don't they?

I'm giving her a pass on that this time - she's struggling with her own feelings about the baby. But I agree. She could have been much nicer to Hope - she managed to explain to Tyrone quite well about why she might be feeling even more uneasy than Ruby about it all.

I think Fizz has been very patient with Hope. She is so obnoxious in every scene so I don't really blame Fizz for telling her off

I wish they'd 'revisit' why so many of the characters have whiney, whiney voices. Ms Pop and Tyrone, Hope, Emma, Leanne, Gemma and Chesney aaaaagh. Did they all go to that crap Corrie Drama School For The Ungifted?

Have to say... do think Eveyn's character has really come into its own. She can be sympathetic in her own way, she can talk sense, and she can be a pain in the arse
