I don’t think hope quite understands the severity of her crime or how lucky she has been just to get therapy!! Tyrone and fizz really aren’t doing their jobs properly. They’re making out like she’s just been a bit of a madam! Fucking sit her down and make her face Alina and apologise properly! Make her listen to how sick Alina was and how it caused her baby to die! Hope really needs to get the message loud and clear that she was wrong. She doesn’t even seem like she knows that.

Completely agree! And I can't stand the way Fizz looks at Tyrone whenever Hope says it was Tyrone's fault for leaving, as if, yes, it's quite normal for a child to commit arson because they're feeling a bit sad or mad about something. And if only he hadn't gone off with Alina it all would have been okay. Why doesn't anybody ever tell her that's not a reason to do what she did? She's, what, 10? Old enough to understand right from wrong.

Right, so when they first started this murder storyline it was said Corrie worked closely with Sophie Lancaster's family. Surely the family would not be happy with the added drama of Corey's dad bribing various people to get Corey off. Did that happen in the real life case?

They just can’t help themselves anymore. These writers. They can’t do any serious storyline justice. They have to add in as many twists and dramatic moments as possible. It’s insulting.

@MrsRobbieHart that's how I feel, that it's insulting to the real life case to add all this unnecessary drama. Surely sticking to only the facts would be sensational enough to satisfy viewers and do justice to Sophie's memory.

Exactly. It’s a serious storyline. It’s already dramatic enough. I honestly think if they put half as much effort into writing proper dialogue and really good direction these storylines would be so much more powerful than they are with these twists and dramatic turns.
