The only 'upsetting scenes' in that episode were Alina and Daisy's acting.

Daniel will be Acting Head of English at the Weathy Academy by next week, 'because the current Head of Department unexpectedly left and I was asked to step in'.

Then he can hire Daisy as a Teaching Assistant or Unqualified Teacher and some other blather.

He did pick bad year to do a PGCE I presume it’s not primary and doing it for A level or something. Maybe he zoomed it!

I've been rewatching the magnificent dinnerladies recently and the 'Leanne:'Pollock!' Debbie (outraged): 'I beg your pardon?' might not have been up to Victoria Wood's standards but it did make me smile. 😀

The scene with Brian and Abby tonight was so good. Brian is good at the more serious/sensitive scenes, so much better than the stupid comedy scenes they usually put him in.

Yes agree that the Abi and Brian scene was brilliant. I was pleasantly surprised at Brian as he's normally such an unbearable baffoon.

That book Daniel gave Daisy - "Teacher Training For Beginners". Can't believe there is a book with a title like that, what a joke!

I laughed when Alina told Tyrone to 'go back to Fizz and eat your chips'. Plus I hadn't realised how short Daisy was. She's tiny.

The writers are obviously pushing for Daisy to have a bigger part. Trouble is... I can't abide her. Her character is just too predictable for me.
