Parent leads child half way out of house then stops telling them how much they love them for 5min instead waiting till outside. Check

Parent shows up last minute when half London fire brigade are there and smoke for miles with “what’s happening” Check!

Some bits were out of the 'Casualty ' handbook : the camera lurking on the gas canister and paint, the key going going down the gap of the floorboards etc
Trouble is , we are not that invested in Tommy as a person , so his injuries won't affect us the way the writers probably think it should do! He hasn't been around enough up to now.
Scarlett may be bright , but I think she will have a cold heart like her mum.
Can't get over that Jack being ex police and only recently been one, didn't know how to help Linda ! First aid training for this type of thing must be one of their many courses surely ?
