Can I do a Tommy moon prediction. Football storyline will Carry on for a year or so. Then he will have a big trial at a London club. Everyone all invested. Local disaster, probably the vic blows up, Tommy runs in to Save a child, breaks ankle career over.

Haha, so unrealistic. Nobody succumbed to smoke inhalation despite being in the fire for half an hour; Scarlett just emerged and sat there telling nobody that people were still in the house; the fire brigade were about 20 minutes and the smoke alarm didn’t sound until the place was a raging inferno. Must try harder BBC!

You couldn't imagine a more ineffective, frustrating bunch of people in an emergency situation ! Is Tommy the footballer now destined to be paralysed n a wheelchair until a miracle recovery somewhere down the line.

Given they were in a bedroom and Eastenders have Jailbird in their blood, why did they not fashion a rope out of bedsheets?

Tommy won't be paralysed. It will be touch and go and they think he is but he'll twitch a toe and the camera will pan to Alfie beaming at the foot of his bed

The half hour fire was right. No one at any point smashed a flipping window! Oh well the latch is stuck I just sit here breathing in the smoke with my two kids. We make sure we go bedroom right next to the fire and not the two rooms at the fire free end of the house.

No one stays disabled for long, enough to make hospital set worth while. Few “try hard enough you can do anything” because it applies equally to your homework and being paralysed and there you go Tommy gets up and walks on Xmas Day ! Duf duf
