How does Shirley think she'll get this money to Tina when nobody has actually seen her for months and months ? Just off the back of one text ?

What was point of fake pride? Tina is supposed to be hanging around but can’t come home. So we hold party where you can wear rainbow face mask and she be able walk straight back to bosom of her family? I suppose if Tina has sent text asking for £10k she will at some point say “come alone to park drop in the 3rd bin along path. Contact the police and they will kill me.”

If I sent a text to my family asking for 10 k I'd be told where to go !

Because I didn't know ( and never dealt drugs!) I Looked up the sentencing for possession and distribution of cannabis online and it could be a long stretch for Jean ( from the brief bits I read online!)

Why would Ruby report Jean rather than bribe her to stay quiet? Surely reporting her just means Jean will find a way to tell Martin. I suppose this gives Ruby an exit story to cover maternity leave though - she should leave just as Stacey comes back.

Actually, that's what I thought Ruby was going to do. Tell Jean she knows her secret and to keep quiet about Stacey. But then, what happens when Jean has finally got rid of all the remaining evidence? Ruby wouldn't have anything hanging over her and Jean could just go ahead and tell Martin the truth then.

It's still a bit far fetched and extreme that Ruby called the police imho 🙄

Yes by time have symptoms with ovarian cancer it’s quite serious. Isn’t cancer more aggressive each time you get it? You would expect her to be quite sick by now. Seems insensitive story line if she does have it and drops dead one day or if she wrong and been telling people she’s dying and not. Should sorted it one way or another months ago.

Maybe playing the part of a Doctor made her start speaking a bit ' posher ' ?
She always had a clipped way of speaking before , quite abrupt and short sentences.
I'm more intrigued as to where she will live ?
Will she carry on at the doctors ? Or was that a temporary job only ?
Where was she living before all this?

But just watched a few episodes from 2008

Evening all, caught up on 5 episodes this morning as been on holiday and the word that sums it up is embarrassing! Honestly the script writers should be ashamed, Dr Janine, the magically regrowing weed, sharon/Tina/phil/Shirley, Jean and ruby, and Linda/Rainie/Jack it's just dreadful! I love Janine and im glad she's back though. Maybe she can kill Gray? She's got form!

I'd love Janine to poke Gray in the eye with one of her shoe heels and finish him off.
I can't see her and him being together though : she is too feisty for him
