When they employ staff they need to do big security checks that they don't have a son who is mentally unstable enough to go on a killing rampage through the hospital. At least they could do that id they had some kind of interview procedure and didn't just parachute new people in as they fancy!

So having raped her daughter and held her hostage they've not let that absolute arse wipe kill her poor baby twiglets. If the twins and Ange die I'm glad they're getting rid of the show!!! They could have sent her on early mat leave never to return if they wanted to get rid of her. I'm buttressing the edge of tears watching that.

Henrik looks like he's going to lose his legs as a minimum

Loved Henrik in that episode and the nods to what happened with Fredrik and how he is still haunted by it - I particularly loved how Guy Henry delivered the line, “You don’t know your son” to Bernie as she bleated about how Cam wouldn’t do that. Cam’s line about being glad Ange and her twins were being operated on down the corridor was chilling.

Serious side eye, though, to Jeni conveniently leaving the passports in her desk drawer at work (rather than, y’know, at home or in a safe deposit box!) and yet another Holby surgeon (Chloe this time) operating on a family member without any acknowledgment that they’re not supposed to do that.

Overall, then, a mixed bag of an episode that sadly doesn’t hold up well to how they would have done it in previous years.

Oh, and the Bernie storyline makes absolutely no sense! If she was rescued over a year ago and her daughter and ex-husband both know, how could she have convinced them not to tell Cameron? Unless we are to suppose she only told them (and Hanssen?!) more than six months after she was freed and after Cameron was sent to jail?

I was confused about the year. So she hadn't told him even when he was seemingly a well functioning doctor? If she'd clarified they'd only known a few months fair enough but it's weird they kept it a secret even whilst he was "normal"

Hi, new to thread.
Been watching HC for 20 years. Am a bit bemused to see it heading to conclusion in the vein of El Dorado and Sunset Beach! And a bit sad. Some great characters deserve better.

Yes. I suspect that's why some have left already.

Well well well. HH made a surprisingly quick recovery given the trauma to his leg 🙄. I'm glad he's still alive. I thought the Cameron scenes were as weak as HH was at the beginning. I thought the twin/family scene was quite sweet really and the Chloe job abroad is a new line 😂. I'm so pleased jenni has been found out but how will it end??

It was all very neat and tidy tonight. I wasn't expecting that.

See, I told you they wouldn't squish HH in his new glasses! He did recover remarkably quickly. Maybe he's a vampire with preternatural healing abilities.

The social distancing in the car park was so obvious in this episode. Glad they've finally finished Cam off though!

I've started watching casualty again in recent months and when I saw them i was a bit confused. I'm finding it hard to separate the 2 now. Maybe that's the intention, it'll all blend into a casualty/holby "collab,"

Whatever do you mean?! Surely they were just in the A&E department of the same building...? 😂🤣

They've always had crossovers when there's been a big event. They did it with the helicopter crash in Casualty too. I guess they can't really ignore the building blowing up even if they are a good few miles apart
