I watch Classic Holby and the man who plays Evan was in it today as a random character. He was a liar and a bit dodgy. Typecast?!!

I noticed that too! It’s fun watching the old episodes and spotting actors who come back later. Plus the old episodes were so much better. Holly was a good series until the storylines went completely bonkers.

Was that who Henrik was on the phone to? He knew Bernie was still alive? So confused with everything Holby wise just now! Poor Carol buy she the actress who plays her was so good tonight.

i don't think so, i think it was coincidence that he went to call someone as the ambulance moved. He looked shocked. He was probably going to call Pretty. She has such a good track record with troubled staff...

i could have accepted it being Serena showing up, at least Cameron had some connection with her.. but Bernie? Nope. I actually YELLED at the TV when she appeared SHE'S SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD!!!

ugh. just heaping stupid upon stupid now. Stopped watching it just before Davood came into it, picked it back up 3 weeks ago.. i'm already regretting it.

What i never get is no one ever calls ahead.

I'll take several days longer to travel there in person in the hope that someone i know will happen to be around.

Only a week ago I did say we will get zombies before the end. Bernie counts, surely?

The BBC said they were going to make a new soap after announcing the Holby cancellation so I expect all their best scriptwriters will have already been moved onto that project. The ones left behind probably have free reign now, no matter how implausible the plots.

@TheWeeDonkeyFella oh interesting. So while Holby spirals into free fall we can at least hope for something better!

It will be interesting to see what they come up with @myotherprofile, there was mention of it being a northern one, so potentially going up against Corrie and Emmerdale.

I finally watched it tonight. I am sure HH was on the phone to Bernie just before be spoke to Cam.

I don't get the Carole storyline - did she do the video because she's dying? Her dementia has ramped up really fast, and her stroke in this episode was really odd. Happened as they were all standing watching her.

I never liked her.

And the way Donna and Sasha were staring at her in absolute awe, as though they preparing to kneel before God….just ridiculous.

I am however glad she’s with Serena but only because I loved Serena and so I’m glad she’s happy

I think they were staring because she's not dead rather than in awe. Could she be deaddead this time?

I just saw the trailer for next week on Facebook. The comments were amazing - all about how wonderful Holby is now and how can they even think of stopping it.

Some things they do really well, some things are totally bonkers. This explosion is a mix of the two I think!
