@Akire Yes, Sharon was planning to take over from Harvey, but it was based on her getting £10K from Rita, which...didn't happen.

I agree about the new fella usually we know someone live story by now. Why would a brand new Barman with no experience be meeting up with a wine rep? Never mind going off in her car with her. When your Boss runs lots of hotels and bars and doesn’t need your opinion on wine.

Hope you manage to stay OP, your thread titles are the best! Corrie is really annoying me, how come Sharon is roaming free as she organised the kidnapping of Sam and used a taser on Jenny, did she get let off because she gave evidence, would that actually happen in real life? How come Jenny isn’t livid that Sharon attacked her and wanting charges brought against her? Jenny is just mildly irritated that Sharon is staying with Rita, no mention of the taser attack and Rita has not mentioned it either, it’s plain weird! As if being tasered is any everyday occurrence and nothing to get worked up about....

How come Jenny has to buy the Rovers? Surely she owns half of it already considering she is married to Johnny, I don’t remember her signing a prenup, it’s details like this that make me shout at the TV. The scriptwriters have missed a trick killing off Kirsty, I was always expecting her to come back (with a new head) to either kidnap Ruby or try and get custody or even come back as a reformed character.

In the great scheme of things, £10,000 is not really enough to start a new life. Is it? I imagine that’s small change to drug dealers.
I did wonder why Rita had to get all the bundles of cash out like that. It did make me wonder whether Sharon had nicked it, or whether she’s going to send round some toerag to nick it, given that Rita’s an old lady living on her own.

Would a bank give someone £10,000.in cash like that?

Yes, Rita tempting Sharon with the cash then withdrawing the offer was odd. Not sure why she'd do that.

I can only imagine it's to lead up to a story line of Rita being bonked on the head yet again.

Maybe Rita and Shaz will go to Blackpool for the day and Reet will push Shaz under a tram thus ending the drug storyline.

I half expected Sharon to have swiped the money anyway when I saw her with the suitcase and the big bag.
