Yes definitely and if he buries it then its gonna come back for revenge 🤣 ooh I shouldn't joke, summer holidays are coming and I'm sure the kids will be writing the scripts soon 🙊

Maybe Clive's sex is that good, I can't think of any other reason.

SleepingStandingUp · 30/06/2021 18:27

Well Sheila did fight fight fight for that love

I really enjoyed Pierce being back. Well, I enjoyed the effect on Nicolette anyway.

Rummikub · 30/06/2021 23:29

And paul enjoying the gossip

Fiddlersgreen · 30/06/2021 23:33

I just can’t warm to new Pierce.
I don’t know why

TomBradysLeftKneecap · 30/06/2021 23:54

@Fiddlersgreen I agree. I liked Old Pierce and would love for him to come back properly now his real life baby is born. Although, it was always a little unbelievable how many multi millionaires would choose a small suburb in Melbourne as their home in the first place.

Mogtheanxiouscat · 01/07/2021 16:34

I think new Pierce is a better actor, but old Pierce is still the real Pierce to me.

Good job on photoshoping him into the wedding pictures though!

Mariposa123 · 01/07/2021 19:11

Agreed that new pierce is a better actor, but he looks too old for the role. He and Chloe don’t make such a believable couple either.

Smidge001 · 01/07/2021 23:02

Yeah I much prefer old pierce. Agree that they seemed a believable couple. Whereas new pierce seems to have a different personality - OP was vulnerable, despite being a multi millionaire, and genuinely cared about hendrix. NP on the other hand is a bit sneaky, did the dirty and just seems disconnected.

NemesiaPinkLagoon · 02/07/2021 08:24

I preferred Old Pierce too as a character and agree he seemed more remorseful even while he was seeing Dipi.

The new one is more callous. I think he is probably a better actor out of the two and the episode when he returned was far better than it has been lately! Haven't seen yesterday's yet.

Yes I think timing is the issue - new Pierce arrived to blow up old Pierce's life and act like a dick. All the build up with the friendship with Dipi was with old Pierce so it felt particularly wrong and sudden.

Neither DH nor I twigged that they must have photos hopped the wedding photos Shock

MiddleClassProblem · 04/07/2021 10:08

I totally agree with the Pierce thoughts. This one is so gruff although he does look more like Hendrix. I can’t connect him to Chloe at all. I keep trying to imagine old Pierce acting these lines and I really can’t. If he did it would have a naivety to it rather than the cold hearted way new Pierce has about him.

woodhill · 05/07/2021 13:52

Wouldn't Amy be liable for a harassment case from Roxy. She is a bad manager. Where is Chloe in Lassiter now

MiddleClassProblem · 05/07/2021 14:04

I hope so. She’s bloody awful at her job. I hope she gets her comeuppance. I’d quick like it if they made Roxy manager and Amy ended up working for her. I think they will be besties before long though.

EBearhug · 05/07/2021 15:58

This storyline (and the H&A one where Mack sacked Ryder) have made me wonder about employment laws in Oz. Although in UK TV soaps, they seem to walk out of jobs without ever having to serve notice, and sack people without following any discernable disciplinary or grievance procedures, which really annoys me, because soaps may be one of the main places people learn about employment rights, and you'd never get the impression it would be a tedious and slow process, or indeed, that there are procedures to follow. I realise to do so would run counter to the need for drama, but I'm sure it could be done.

SleepingStandingUp · 05/07/2021 19:02

Ryder called Mack out on sacking chloe and she said could cos she was a casual, so assume essentially on a zero hours contract?

It takes Lexi 5 times longer to get over a brief relationship than it does for Mark to get over a fiancée…

SleepingStandingUp · 06/07/2021 17:05

Who's Lexi?

OP posts:
Fiddlersgreen · 06/07/2021 17:22

Levi?

MiddleClassProblem · 06/07/2021 17:23

🤣🤣 Levi! Omg what’s wrong with me!?!

That end of the alphabet is a mysterious place

Rummikub · 07/07/2021 15:09

I enjoyed the scene with Susan and Therese in the spa. 😂

Flashinggreen · 08/07/2021 19:00

What’s going on with the lighting? Looks more ‘natural’ in some scenes

woodhill · 09/07/2021 14:12

Bit confused how Jesse won the flamingo bar event when he was in Harrolds chatting to Paul whilst it was going on

KatieKat88 · 10/07/2021 05:49

@woodhill they said something about having designated rest breaks so I'm guessing that was why he was there

woodhill · 10/07/2021 12:27

Thanks @KatieKat88 😊
